Described herein is a system and method for detecting correlated changes (e.g., between code files and configuration files). For a plurality of code files and a plurality of configuration files, a correlated change model is trained to identify correlated changes across the code files and the configuration files using a machine learning algorithm that discovers change rules using a support parameter, and, a confidence parameter, and, a refinement algorithm that refines the discovered change rules. The correlated change model comprising the change rules is stored. The correlated change model can be used to identify potential issue(s) regarding a particular file (e.g., changed code or configuration file(s)). Information regarding the identified potential issue(s) can be provided to a user.

Detecting misconfiguration and/or bug(s) in large service(s) using correlated change analysis

A method and system for changing content of a window of an application program is provided. A contextual window system displays a window with content based on a current context of the window. The contextual window system receives from a user a context string for a new context for the window. When the context string includes a command, the contextual window system performs a function of the application program that implements the command to change from the current context of the window to the new context of the window. When the context string does not specify a command, the contextual window system submits the context string as a query for data of the application program to change from the current context of the window to the new context of the window. The contextual window system then modifies the content of the window to reflect the new context of the window.

A method and system for cryptographically indexing, searching for, and retrieving documents is provided. In some embodiments, an encryption system is provided that generates a document index that allows users to retrieve documents by performing encrypted queries for keywords associated with the documents. In some embodiments, each keyword maps to the same number of encrypted document identifiers. In some embodiments, an extractor graph is employed to map an indication of each keyword to a number of buckets storing encrypted document identifiers. In some embodiments, an order-preserving encryption system is provided. The encryption system uses an ordered index that maps encrypted instances of ordered attribute values to documents that are associated with those values. The ordered index enables queries containing query operators that rely on order, such as less than ('&#x3c;') or greater than ('&#x3e;'), to be successfully performed on encrypted attribute values.

This can employ a two-phased approach in the search for similar software bugs. The first is a search phase that takes a query as input and returns a ranked list of software bug descriptions that match the query. These bug descriptions can contain a mix of structured and unstructured data. The second phase is a related-information phase that uses the output of the first phase to retrieve a set of related recommendations such as for people, source files, functions and binaries.
