A mobile communication method based on a mobile communication terminal is provided, wherein a communication unit of the mobile communication terminal is adapted to working in at least two communication modes, and an antenna assembly of the mobile communication terminal is adapted to selectively working in different communication modes or in a combination of different communication modes. The method includes: selecting, based on a communication mode and a service type of the mobile communication terminal, a coupling relationship between the antenna assembly and the communication unit, so that the mobile communication terminal can work in various working modes; and if the communication mode and/or the service type of the mobile communication terminal changes, adjusting the coupling relationship between the antenna assembly and the communication unit based on the change. The mobile communication terminal using the method has characteristics of small size, low cost and less difficulty to design.

Mobile communication method

This invention presents a method for fast call setup in a mobile communication system, including the steps of radio resource control (RRC) connection setup, Non-access stratum (NAS) signaling connection setup and NAS signaling interaction, and radio access bearer (RAB) setup. User equipment (UE) sends a RRC CONNECTION REQUEST, which encapsulates NAS, to RNC. In response, the radio resource control (RNC) digests the RRC CONNECTION REQUEST and forwards NAS to the core network (CN), which sends RAB Assignment Request to RNC and starts to send the paging message to the terminal call.

Method for fast call setup in a mobile communication system

A method of UU message transfer for fast call setup is disclosed. The method includes encapsulating a Service Request into a RRC Connection Request message. When a UE starts the service sensitive to call setup delays, the RRC Connection Request undergoes non-critical extension. The Service Request and necessary Access Stratum (AS) information are disposed into the extended portion. The RNC, after receiving the extended RRC connection request, extracts the IDT message from the extended RRC Connection Request and sends it to the CN.

A method of UU message transfer for fast call setup. The method includes encapsulating a Service Request into a RRC Connection Request. When a UE starts the service sensitive to call setup delay, the RRC layer encapsulates the Service Request into IDT. If this encapsulation is successful, the RRC connection request message undergoes non-critical extension, and the encapsulated IDT is disposed into the extended portion. The RNC, after receiving the extended RRC connection request, extracts the IDT message from the extended RRC CONNECTION REQUEST and sends it to the CN.
