An organic light emitting display includes a display unit that includes pixels coupled to scan lines, control lines, and data lines; a control line driver for providing control signals to the respective pixels through the control lines; a first power driver for applying a first power to the pixels of the display unit; and a second power driver for applying a second power to the pixels of the display unit, wherein the first power and/or the second power is applied to the pixels of the display unit, having voltage values at different levels, during periods of one frame, and the control signals and the first and second powers are concurrently provided to all of the pixels.

Exemplary embodiments of the present invention also provide a compensation circuit configured to convert first data supplied from the outside into second data by using compensation data corresponding to a compensation prediction curve and output the second data, and compare the current information about the deterioration region group and the current information about the reference group and correct the compensation prediction curve for the deterioration region group; and a data driver configured to supply the second data to the display unit through data lines as data signals.

A display panel includes input power supply line coupled to a power supply at one or more edge portions of the display panel, and an output power supply line coupled to the input power supply line at a predetermined portion of the display panel. The input power supply line receives the power supply voltage, and the output power supply line receives the power supply voltage from the input power supply line. The power supply is coupled to the output power supply line at the one or more edge portions of the display panel, and receives the power supply voltage from the output power supply line to adjust a voltage level of the power supply voltage based on the power supply voltage from the output power supply line. An organic light emitting display is driven in a simultaneous (or concurrent) emission scheme. The organic light emitting display includes: a display unit including a plurality of pixels coupled to scan lines, control lines, and data lines; a control line driver for providing control signals to the pixels through the control lines; and a power driver for applying a power at different levels to the pixels of the display unit during a plurality of periods of one frame. The control signals and the power are concurrently provided to the pixels included in the display unit.

The organic light emitting display may include a plurality of pixels for generating light components with predetermined brightness components while controlling the amount of current that flows from a first power source to a second power source via organic light emitting diodes (OLED), a first power source controller for extracting data of the highest gray level among input data items of one frame and for outputting a control value having voltage information corresponding to the highest gray level data, and a first power source generator for generating a controlled voltage value corresponding to the control value and outputting the controlled voltage value to the first power source.

A method of driving a display device including a plurality of pixels, the method including transmitting a plurality of data signals to first group pixels during a first scan period, simultaneously emitting light through the first group pixels according to a programmed data signal during a first light emitting period adjacent to the first scan period, transmitting a plurality of data signals to second group pixels, different from the first group pixels, during a second scan period, and simultaneously emitting light through the second group pixels according to a programmed data signal during a second light emitting period adjacent to the second scan period. A display device includes a timing controller for controlling the display of an image. The timing controller forms a frame for an image signal based on a main frame, a compensation frame, and at least one blank frame. The timing controller also determines a driving method for the display pixels to generate output image data. The main frame serves to display the image signal. The compensation frame serves to compensate luminance of the main frame. The blank frame serves to express a black gray scale value.

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display includes a display unit including first pixels emitting first color light, second pixels emitting second color light, and third pixels emitting third color light, and a power source voltage supplier supplying a driving voltage to the respective pixels of the display unit. The display further includes a first voltage wire transferring the driving voltage to the first pixels, a second voltage wire transferring the driving voltage to the second pixels, and a third voltage wire transferring the driving voltage to the third pixels. Pixel circuit and display device using the same

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display and a method of compensating for degradation are disclosed. One inventive aspect includes a panel assembly including a plurality of pixels. Luminance measuring units are formed along a perimeter of the panel assembly to measure luminance of light emitted from the pixels. A processing unit compares the measured luminance data so as to detect and also compensate for a degraded pixel.
