A method for estimating a Remaining Useful Life of a subject equipment, with a preliminary phase including the following steps: acquire test observations (step) and produce test time series (S) of at least one signature; partition the test time series to obtain severity classes corresponding to the ageing phases of the test equipment devices (step); carry out an initial learning of a diagnosis model on the test equipment devices (step); perform a second learning of a signature prediction model (step). There is also an operational phase including the following steps: acquire observations when in operation on the subject equipment and produce an extrapolated time series using the prediction model; classify the extrapolated time series using the diagnosis model and derive the remaining useful life of the subject equipment.

Method for estimating the remaining service life of subject equipment

A method includes for each of the portions of a guide of the actuator, obtaining an operating signal measured when a movable element of the actuator travels over the guide portion in question, upon each of a plurality of successive activations of the actuator; for each of the guide portions, seeking wear of the actuator from the operating signals obtained for this guide portion; and locating the wear on the guide or on the motor according to the guide portions from which the wear has been found.

System for actuating a movable structure of a thrust reverser of an aircraft, thrust reverser and jet engine comprising such a system

A method is provided for characterizing the amplitude of play in an electromechanical actuator comprising an electric motor, a movable element, an upstream sensor, a downstream sensor, and a force sensor. The method includes steps of measuring the position of the motor, the position of the movable element and the load applied to the movable element using the three sensors. On the basis of a computer model of the actuator and of the measurements, a value of the amount of mechanical play is estimated using a state observer considering the play to be a state component. The amplitude of the play is determined from a set of values of the dynamic variable obtained in the preceding step at various times.

Method for estimating the play in an electromechanical actuator

The invention relates to a method of monitoring an electromechanical actuator system, the method comprising the steps of estimating the voltage drop in the power supply to the motor associated with defects of the inverter by means of a Kalman filter, estimating () at least the electromagnetic torque coefficient of the motor by taking account of the estimated voltage drop, and calculating () the electromagnetic torque of the motor from the electromagnetic torque coefficient of the motor.
