A method performed by a radio node for handling a radio fingerprint during network degradation in a wireless communications network is provided. The radio node obtains an indication about a network degradation at location X in the wireless communications network. The radio node decides whether one or more radio fingerprints of respective one or more User Equipments, UEs, are suffering from the network degradation at location X. When one or more radio fingerprints of respective one or more UEs are suffering from the network degradation at location X, the radio node provides to the one or more UEs an indication that the location X is suffering from the network degradation. The indication enables the one or more UEs to handle their respective radio fingerprints during the network degradation at location X.

Handling radio fingerprints in a wireless communication network

A method performed by a radio network node for handling a radio degradation in a wireless communication network. The radio network node detects the radio degradation in a radio coverage area served by the radio network node. The radio network node further identifies at least one target wireless device to inform about the radio degradation. There are provided mechanisms for reporting network performance degradation in a communications system. A method is performed by a wireless device. The method includes selecting a first configuration for reporting the network performance degradation when current speed of travel is above a speed threshold, and else selecting a second configuration. According to the second configuration the reporting is controlled by a network-specific timer. A new reporting of the network performance degradation for one and the same location is only allowed upon expiration of the network-specific timer. The method includes reporting, to a network node in the communications system, network performance degradation as currently experienced by the wireless device using the selected configuration.

Reporting of network performance degradation in a communications system

A method for operating a wireless device during a radio connection loss. The method includes establishing that the cause of the radio connection loss corresponds to an outage of a radio cell hosting the wireless device and determining, based at least on the established cause, a policy of applying a random time delay when transmitting a request to a radio network node in a target radio cell. The method comprises steps being performed by a network node of generating () a radio coverage map, wherein the generated radio coverage map covers the geographical area of the failing node and geographical areas of adjacent nodes, identifies at least one mobile communication device having radio coverage from at least one of the adjacent nodes, and defines a size of the geographical area of the failing node, dynamically calibrating () the defined size of the geographical area of the failing node of the dynamically generated radio coverage map by: calculating () a first distance between the identified mobile communication device and a selected one of the adjacent nodes, wherein the identified mobile communication device has coverage from the selected adjacent node while being geographically closer to the failing node than to the selected adjacent node, deducing () a second distance between the failing node and the selected adjacent node, determining () the actual size of the geographical area of the failing node based on the second and the first distance, and determining () a number of radio coverage drones to be dispatched to the geographical area of the failing node, wherein the number of radio coverage drones is based on to the actual size of the geographical area of the failing node. A system and method for priority actuation is provided. The system and method comprise a priority button. An access to the priority button is provided to an authorized user. The authorized user is enabled to initiate a priority actuation trigger for a priority service in at least one automated access system using the priority button.
