An electronic device includes a detection region, wherein the electronic device includes a plurality of first units, a plurality of second units, and a sensor module. A portion of the plurality of first units is configured to generate a first signal. A portion of the plurality of second units is configured to generate a second signal, and the first signal and the second signal have different properties. When the detection region is detected, a first region is generated by the first signal, a second region is generated by the second signal, and the first region and the second region are generated simultaneously. The first region is overlapped with the detection region, and the second region is overlapped with the detection region. The sensor module is overlapped with the detection region, wherein the sensor module is configured to sense a feature in the detection region.

Electronic device

A method of detecting a biometric feature with an electronic device and the method includes the following steps. Firstly, a detection region of the electronic device is provided, and the electronic device includes a plurality of first color pixels, a plurality of second color pixels, and a sensor module. Then, a first color light and a second color light are respectively generated by turning on at least a portion of the first color pixels and at least a portion of the plurality of second color pixels in the detection region. Next, a first area and a second area are simultaneously generated by the first color and the second color light, wherein the first area and the second area are overlapped with the detection region, and the sensor module is overlapped with the detection region. Finally, a biometric feature is determined.

Method of detecting biometric feature

A method of detecting biometric feature with an electronic device and the method includes the following steps. Firstly, a detection region is provided on the electronic, the electronic device includes a plurality of first sensor units and a plurality of second sensor units. Then, a first scanning light is generated in the detection region, and the first scanning light is sensed by the plurality of first sensor units. Next, a second scanning light is generated in the detection region, and the second scanning light is sensed by the plurality of second sensor units. Finally, a biometric feature is determined.

Provided is an electronic device including: a sensing component; a polarization film disposed on the sensing component; and a quarter-wave plate disposed between the sensing component and the polarization film.

A touch display includes a display panel and a touch layer. The display panel has pixel areas, and one of the pixel areas has a pixel pitch in a first direction. The display panel includes a substrate, and a display medium layer disposed over the substrate. The touch layer is disposed over the substrate, and includes slits and an electrode. The slits include a first slit and a second slit adjacent to the first slit. The electrode is disposed between the first slit and the second slit. A touch display comprises a display panel and a touch layer. The display panel includes a plurality of pixel areas. The touch layer is disposed over the display panel, and includes a plurality of conducting-wire portions and slits. The pixel area has a pixel pitch, and each of the conducting-wire portions and its adjacent slit have a predetermined pitch. A moir&#xe9; ratio is defined as (the predetermined pitch/the pixel pitch)&#xd7;100%. The moir&#xe9; effect of the touch display is decreased, when the moir&#xe9; ratio complies with the formula, 25%+(50%&#xd7;N)&#x2212;A%&#x2266;the moir&#xe9; ratio&#x2266;25%+(50%&#xd7;N)+A%, wherein N is 0 or a positive integer, and A is an adjustment value in a range from 0 to 20.

Touch display device

A transparent electrode layer includes plural touch units. Each of the touch units includes a sensing part and a wiring part. The sensing part has at least one dummy slit. The wiring part is electrically connected to the sensing part, and includes at least one conductor line and at least one slit. The at least one conductor line and the at least one slit are alternately formed in the wiring part. A density ratio, in a range between 0.5 and 2, is determined by a sensing part density parameter and a wiring part density parameter.
