An endoscope includes a mounting and detaching section, terminals that, when an adapter is mounted on an outer circumference, come into contact with an identification resistor provided in the adapter and having different resistance values for each of adapters, a lead wire that energizes the identification resistor via the terminals, and a flexible board electrically connected to the terminals in the mounting and detaching section and electrically connected to a distal end of the lead wire in a position behind the mounting and detaching section.

In a wire-pulling mechanism, a second engaging portion is configured so that the position of the second engaging portion in the longitudinal direction of a second pulling wire is displaceable closer to the front end than an engaged portion of the second pulling wire, the second pulling wire is configured so as to enter the inside of a second movement track and extend in the shape of a straight line, in a neutral state of an operating unit, and the tilting operation of the operating unit causes the second engaging portion to be moved to the front end along the second movement track with respect to the second pulling wire and causes the engaged portion of the second pulling wire and the second engaging portion to be separated from each other from a state where the engaged portion of the second pulling wire and the second engaging portion engage each other.

Wire-pulling mechanism and endoscopic apparatus

The endoscope apparatus of the present invention includes: an insertion portion having a bending portion; an observation device that is provided at the insertion portion; an illumination unit that is provided at the insertion portion, and that illuminates a visual field of the observation device; a main body unit that is formed having a size that enables it to be held and operated by one hand of a user; an operating section that is used to operate the bending portion; a display unit that is connected to the insertion portion, and that displays images acquired by the observation device; a light emitting component that is provided in the main body unit, and that is connected via a light guide to the illumination unit; a heat discharge unit that is provided at the main body unit such that at least a portion thereof is exposed, and that is thermally connected to the light emitting component; and a shielding portion that is provided at the main body unit, and that covers at least a portion of the periphery of the heat discharge unit, and that also inhibits the heat discharge unit contacts with external portions thereof.

Endoscope apparatus

This endoscope apparatus includes: an insertion portion; a bending portion; an operation portion; and a pull member. The operation portion includes: an operation lever; a bearing that supports the operation lever in a state of being freely inclinable around a swinging center; a friction member that is fixed to the operation lever; a press portion configured to contact a contact surface; and a switching device that is connected to the press portion and presses the press portion against the contact surface when rotated in a first rotational direction with a predetermined rotation axis as a rotation center thereof and also so as to cause the press portion to be spaced away from the contact surface when rotated in a second direction.
