A fuel hose according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: a tubular inner rubber layer; a resin layer formed on an outer circumferential surface of the inner rubber layer; and an outer rubber layer formed on an outer circumferential surface of the resin layer, wherein the inner rubber layer includes a rubber material containing the following Components (A), (B) and (C), the outer rubber layer includes a rubber material containing the following Components (A'), (B) and (C&#x2032;), and the resin layer includes a resin material containing the following Component (X) as a main component: (A) acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, (A&#x2032;) blend rubber containing acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber and acrylic rubber, (B) a sulfur vulcanizing agent, (C) an amine catalyst to form bonding points, (C&#x2032;) an amine catalyst to form bonding points, which contains 1,5-diazabicyclo(4.3.0)non-5-ene salt (DBN salt), and (X) tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoro(alkylvinylether)-chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer.

Fuel hose and method for producing the same

A refrigerant transportation hose having excellent flexibility and high resistance to permeation of refrigerant. The refrigerant transportation hose includes an innermost layer formed by using polyamide resin, a low-permeation layer formed on an outer peripheral surface of the innermost layer and rubber layers (of an inner rubber layer and an outer rubber layer) formed on an outer peripheral surface of the low-permeation layer, wherein the low-permeation layer is a resin film in thickness of 5 to 100 &#x3bc;m made of polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of saponification of not less than 90%.

Refrigerant transportation hose

A hose of impermeability has a wall corrugated along at least a part of its length, and formed by an inner thin resin layer, a laminated layer including a metal film, or a layer formed by a metal film, and an outer thin resin layer. It has a very high fluid impermeability owing to its wall layer including or formed by a metal film, and is also very flexible, capable of absorbing vibration, light in weight and strong. A tubular inner thin resin layer is formed by extrusion as the innermost layer of a multi-layered hose wall, and a laminated tape including a metal film, or simply a metal film is spirally wound or longitudinally lapped about the inner resin layer. An outer thin resin layer is formed about a layer formed by the laminated tape, or metal film, and the whole is at least partly corrugated. Alternatively, corrugation is done before an outer thin resin layer is formed by electrostatic powder coating. A different process includes applying a laminated tape including a metal film about a mandrel to form a tubular laminated layer, and after removing the mandrel, coating the inner surface of the tubular layer with a resin powder electrostatically to form a thin resin layer thereon.

Fuel cell hose

A refrigerant transportation hose having excellent processability and durability, as well as high resistance to gas permeation (gas barrier properties) and adequate flexibility. The refrigerant transportation hose containing a tubular rubber layer in which refrigerant is circulated, the tubular rubber layer is formed by a material consisting essentially of components (A) to (C): (A) at least one rubber of butyl rubber and halogenated butyl rubber; (B) polybutene; and (C) a white filler.

A rubber hose material for providing a rubber hose excellent in mechanical strength and with an intrinsic property (elongation) of rubber retained. The rubber hose material is formed by blending an ethylene-olefin resin (component (B)) as an organic filler into an ethylene-propylene rubber (component (A)).

Rubber hose material and rubber hose using the same

A vibration absorbing hose has a corrugated portion extending substantially entire part of the hose and end portions of straight cylindrical shape. The vibration absorbing hose has multi-layered construction of tubular inner rubber layer, pressure resistant reinforcement layer circumscribing an outer side of the inner rubber layer and outer rubber layer as outermost cover layer. The pressure resistant reinforcement layer is formed, for example, by braiding reinforcing yarns, so as to have corrugations along the corrugated portion of the inner rubber layer.

Vibration absorbing hose

A vibration absorbing hose including a corrugated portion has multi-layered construction of tubular inner rubber layer, pressure resistant reinforcement layer formed on an outer side of the inner rubber layer by providing reinforcing yarns. A radial depth B of the pressure resistant reinforcement layer at a position of each of corrugation valleys of the rubber layer has such relationship with respect to a corrugation valley depth A of the rubber layer as 0&#x3c; or =B&#x3c; or =0.7&#xd7;A, and an opening angle &#x3b8; of each of the corrugation valleys of the rubber layer satisfies &#x3b8;&#x3c; or =100&#xb0;.

A vibration absorbing hose including a corrugated portion has multi-layered construction of tubular inner rubber layer, pressure resistant reinforcement layer circumscribing an outer side of the inner rubber layer and outer rubber layer as outermost cover layer. The pressure resistant reinforcement layer is formed, for example, by providing reinforcing yarns, so as to have corrugations along the corrugated portion of the inner rubber layer. The inner rubber layer contains scaly filler in an amount of 50 phr to 200 phr so as to be oriented in a stretching direction of the inner rubber layer. The scaly filler has an aspect ratio of 2 to 90.

A hydrogen fuel transporting hose for a fuel cell powered vehicle having a laminar structure includes at least one inner rubber layer, at least one reinforcing layer, and at least one outer rubber layer, which layers are laminated integrally with one another in the order of description in a radially outward direction of the hose. Each of the inner and outer rubber layers are obtained by vulcanizing a rubber composition including a rubber material selected from the group consisting of a halogenated butyl rubber material, and a blend of a halogenated butyl rubber material and a butyl rubber material. The vulcanized rubber includes a filler having a layered crystal structure and is vulcanized with one of a peroxide vulcanizing agent and a resin vulcanizing agent.

Hydrogen fuel transporting hose for fuel-cell powered vehicle

A low-contaminative hose which permits a fluid to be passed through with minimized fluid contamination, and a rubber composition used to produce such a hose. The low-contaminative hose is formed from the rubber composition that includes, as essential components, at least one rubber selected from an ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer, an ethylene-propylene copolymer and a silicone rubber, a peroxide vulcanizing agent, and a filler having a laminar crystal structure.

Low-contaminative hose and rubber composition for use in making the same

A hose comprising a laminate including a rubber layer comprising a rubber composition containing as essential components (A) a rubber made of at least one material selected from the group consisting of an ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer and an ethylene-propylene copolymer, (B) a vulcanizing agent containing a peroxide, (C) a resorcinol compound, and (D) a melamine resin; and a layer made of at least one material selected from the group consisting of a polyamide resin, an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, and a metal. In such hose, the rubber layer and the non-rubber layer made of the polyamide resin, the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, or of the metal adhere well to each other, without applying an adhesive to an interface therebetween.

A sulfur vulcanizing system rubber composition comprises EPDM, zinc as a vulcanization accelerator activator, at least one thiazole type vulcanization accelerator serving to control the dissolution of zinc from the composition, and at least one ultra-accelerator of the thiuram or dithiocarbamate type, these accelerators being preferably combined under specified quantitative limitations. The hose using this rubber composition is particularly suitable for use in a cooling system for an automobile engine, since the dissolution of zinc into a coolant is prevented, thereby preventing the formation of any zinc compound causing the blocking of the hose, or the leakage of the coolant through the seal between the hose and any pipe connected therewith.

Rubber compositions and hoses

A rubber composition which can achieve superior adhesion force between it and a material to be adhered without a coating of an adhesive. The rubber composition includes the following components (A) to (D): (A) a rubber composed of at least one of an ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer and an ethylene-propylene copolymer, (B) a peroxide vulcanizing agent, (C) a resorcinol-based compound, and (D) a melamine resin.
