To provide an oil-in-water emulsion skin care cosmetic composition which, without the addition of a pharmaceutical agent and a film-forming agent or the like thereto, effects an excellent elastic or resilient feeling to skin and is excellent in non-stickiness and stability. An oil-in-water emulsion skin care cosmetic composition, comprising (a) a paraffin wax and/or a polyethylene wax, (b) a microcrystalline wax, and (c) an animal/plant-derived wax which contains, as the main ingredient thereof, an ester of a higher fatty acid having from 20 to 32 carbon atoms and an alcohol having from 28 to 34 carbon atoms, and has a melting point of from 75 to 100&#xb0; C., in which the ratio of component (a) to component (b) is from 70/30 to 95/5 (by mass).

Oil-in-water emulsion skin care cosmetic composition

The invention provides an oil-in-water type cosmetic emulsion which can be applied to the skin without stickiness, and impart resilient and supple feel to the skin, while having good stability without causing viscosity decrease or separation even during a long-term storage. The oil-in-water type cosmetic emulsion comprises (a) a higher alcohol having 14 to 22 carbon atoms, (b) a hydrophilic polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, and (c) a glycerin monoalkyl ether, wherein alkyl moieties in (b) and (c) are linear saturated alkyl chains, and molar concentrations of (a) to (c) satisfy a relation [(b)+(c)]/(a)=0.1 to 1.0, and preferably satisfy a relation [(a)+(c)]/(b)=3 to 20.

Oil-in-water type cosmetic emulsion

There is provided an oil-in-water emulsified composition comprising hydrophobic powder particles, a polyether-modified silicone represented by formula (1), and an ionic water-soluble polymer compound, whereby the succulent feel originating from thickening effect rendered by the ionic water-soluble polymer compound and the effects intrinsic to the hydrophobic powder particles can be demonstrated stably over time in an oil-in-water emulsified composition obtained using an ionic water-soluble polymer compound, to which composition the powder particles are added.
