Techniques for video conferencing are disclosed. In one embodiment, a mirror assembly can be used to position a mirror in front of a camera, reflecting a view of the camera downward towards a whiteboard or other drawing surface, allowing a user to show a drawing during a video conference. In another embodiment, video data and audio data of a user in a video conference can be analyzed to determine what portions of the video data and audio data should be transmitted to a remote participant in the video conference. Unintentional input supplied by the user in the video data and audio data may be used to determine which portions of the video data and audio data to transmit.

Technologies for video conferencing

Particular embodiments described herein provide a display that includes a mask that includes a one or more exposed areas, a top electrode, one or more bottom electrodes, a dielectric between the top electrode and the one or more bottom electrodes, and an electrical connection to create a differential voltage between the top electrode and the one or more bottom electrodes.

An apparatus may include a display at the input device, a wireless transmission architecture, and a wireless receiver. The wireless transmission architecture is to broadcast a signal to the display, and wireless receiver to receive the broadcast signal at the display. The broadcast signal is configured to provide a power signal to initiate operations of the display, a data signal to provide content to be displayed at the display, or any combination thereof.

An embodiment for a computing device is described herein. The computing device may include a word database enhancer, a recommendation engine, a keyboard monitor, a ranking and display manager, and a keyboard. The keyboard may be a configurable physical keyboard device that includes an embedded display, where the embedded display is a runtime configurable display. The keyboard may display configurable images in the form of auto-text completion text or a decrypted password. The keyboard may also include a microcontroller, a touch sensor, and a keyboard filter driver.

The keycap can include a protective layer and an active element, where the height of protective layer and the active element is less than six (6) millimeters in height. Disclosed are electrical systems and electronic devices. An electrical system includes an electronic device. The electronic device is configured to receive external power from an external power source, the external power sufficient to support normal mode operation of the electronic device. An electronic device includes an internal power source configured to provide internal power sufficient to support low power requirements of the electronic device operating in a low power mode, but not sufficient to support normal power requirements of a normal mode. The electronic device includes control circuitry programmed to transition from the low power mode to a hibernate mode while powered by only the internal power source.

Methods and systems to provide location and navigation information to a user within a building. In an embodiment, low power radars may be used to locate and track a user. Moreover, the systems and methods described herein may take advantage of the known layout of a building, or may ascertain the layout using the radar devices. This information may be used to direct a user from a current location to a desired destination. In some contexts, such as stores, radio frequency ID (RFID) tags may be used to identify a particular destination, such as a particular product in a particular aisle in a store. Multiple persons may be tracked as they move about the building, so that the more frequently used paths may be identified for moving from point to point. These identified paths may then be used in constructing a path for a user who needs directions.

System and method for indoor geolocation and mapping

A method, apparatus, and system are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method determines whether one or more manageability conditions are present in a computer system, and then invokes an out-of-service manageability remediation environment stored within a portion of a flash device in the computer system when one or more manageability conditions are present.
