The invention is directed to a structured liquid fabric treatment composition comprising as added components one or more silicone-based cationic fabric care ingredients preferably selected from the group consisting of cationic silicone polymers comprising one or more polysiloxane units and one or more quaternary nitrogen units; a structuring system comprising a structuring agent, a nonionic emulsifier and an anionic emulsifier; a cationic scavenging agent for the anionic emulsifier and a liquid carrier.

Use of a crystal growth inhibitor to reduce fabric abrasion

The bag includes a plurality of apertures allowing wash water to flow through the bag but which substantially prevent the water-insoluble DTI compound from exiting the bag during use. The laundry device can further include a container having a compartment for receiving and dispensing a dosed amount of detergent during use.

There is provided a composition as well as a method for treating fabrics in order to improve various properties of fabrics, in particular, wrinkle resistance by means of a cross-linking resin having cationic properties.

Wrinkle resistant composition

A fabric care composition comprises a polyamine functional polymer and a crystal growth inhibitor selected from the group consisting of carboxylic compounds, organic mono and diphosphonic acids, and salts and complexes thereof, and mixture thereof. In one embodiment, the polyamine functional polymer has a molecular weight between 200 and 10,000 and, when the crystal growth inhibitor is selected from carboxylic acid, organic diphosphonic acid, and mixtures thereof, the crystal growth inhibitor is present in an amount of less than 1% by weight of the composition. In another embodiment, the crystal growth inhibitor is present in an amount of from 0.005 to 0.2 percent by weight of the composition.

Stabilized fabric softening compositions

The present invention relates to a fabric care composition comprising a polyamino-functional polymer and a cellulose reactive dye fixing agent said composition providing effective care to the color of the treated fabric. Also provided herein is a method for the domestic treatment o a fabric to reduce the amount of dye released from the fabric during wet treatments and comprising the step of contacting the fabrics with a polyamino-functional polymer and a cellulose reactive dye fixing agent as defined herein; and thereafter subjecting the treated fabrics with a heating source in a dry medium.

Rinsing dyed or white fabrics in a chelator-containing rinse bath restores color and brightness.
