A method for operating a surgical microscope having a camera is described. The method includes the following steps: a code that is able to be captured in a set frequency range is introduced into the field of view of the camera, at least one image which includes the code is captured via the camera, an evaluation device is used to identify the code and compare the latter to set features of a code required to activate at least one function, and if the identified code has the set features, the activation of the function is authorized.

An optical imaging arrangement includes an optical element and a piezoelectric device. The optical element includes an optical element body carrying an optical surface on a front side of the optical element body. The piezoelectric device includes a first electrode and at least one piezoelectric element. The first electrode is configured to cooperate with the at least one piezoelectric element and at least one second electrode, when the at least one second electrode is located on a rear side of the optical element body and the at least one piezoelectric element is located between the first electrode and the at least one second electrode, the rear side of the optical element body being opposite to the front side of the optical element body. The first electrode is located on the front side of the optical element body, and the at least one piezoelectric element is formed by at least one piezoelectric section of the optical element body.

The stand includes a base part, a stand part forming a c-shape structure, having a first end and a second end, and being mounted on the base part at the first end. The connecting rail is arranged so as to be displaceable in the y-direction in relation to the second securing device via a linear actuator. The first securing device includes a rotation device arranged so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation extending in the x-direction. The mount includes a controller which is configured to displace the connecting rail in the y-direction in relation to the second securing device via the actuator when the first securing device is rotated about the tilt axis such that the distance between the focal point and the second securing device is kept constant within a certain interval.

The stator holder has at least two electrically conductive paths running separately from and adjacent to one another. In each case, the two paths running separately from and adjacent to one another form a path pair, and the paths of the path pair are connected to one another in electrically conductive fashion at their respective ends. The paths of the path pair are arranged such that the stator and/or the actuating element induces eddy currents acting in opposite directions in the paths.
