The invention relates to a ceramic lining for combustion chambers (,) consisting of several juxtaposed elements (,) that are attached by means of a retention bolt (,) to the inside of a thermally highly stressed metallic support wall (,), whereby at least one insulation body (,) is arranged between the metallic support wall (,) and the ceramic elements (,). It is characterized in that the ceramic elements (,) essentially have the shape of a straight, regular pyramid whose base (,) has n corners, preferably three corners, and faces the combustion chamber (,), and into whose tip the retention bolt (,) is integrated.

Ceramic lining

An arrangement for insulating a wall of a metallic combustion chamber is disclosed. A layer of insulating material is applied to the metallic wall and a plurality of ceramic wall panels are applied over the ceramic insulation material. The wall panels are retained by fastening elements that pass through an opening in the wall panels. The opening in the wall panels has a frusto-conical surface and the engagement surface of the fastening element is at least partially spherical to avoid mechanical and thermal stresses.

Combustion plants and gas turbines have inner regions through which hot gases flow. A thermal insulation for the inner regions includes a fiber composite having a surface. A protection against destruction is disposed at the surface.

Thermal insulation

A process for producing a casting ceramic including water glass and a powder containing silicon and aluminum, includes mixing epoxy resin based on bisphenol-A into a casting ceramic to reduce open porosity. The casting ceramic is subsequently subjected to at least one heat treatment.
