A seal of an electric machine installed within a motor vehicle drive mechanism with of one of a wet-running oil-cooled disk gearshift element, a multiple disk clutch and a multiple disk brake being accommodated within a free space of a rotor of the electric machine. An oil free annular gap () is formed between the rotor () and the stator () of the electric machine and the annular gap () has a seal () which, at a high rate of rotation by the rotor () and depending on the type of gap seal, seals without touching.

Seal for an electric machine located within a drive train of a motor vehicle

A transmission () comprises a gear input shaft (), a gear output shaft (), several shift elements (), at least one planetary gearset () and an electrical machine (). A required gear ratio can be adjusted as a function of the activation of the shift elements (to) and the electrical machine (). The electrical machine () can be linked to a first shaft () of the first planetary gearset () by way of a first shift element () and to a second shaft () of the first planetary gearset () by way of a second shift element (). At least the first shift element () or the second shift element () is disposed in the axial direction of the gear input shaft () adjacent to the electrical machine ().

Drive train for a hybrid vehicle

An automatic transmission for motor vehicles () comprising a drive shaft () that can be linked with an internal combustion engine and an output shaft () that can be linked with at least one motor vehicle axle. Furthermore, it suggests a manual shiftable transmission () that comprises a first and a second planetary gear set (), several shift elements () as well as an electric engine (), which is provided as a starter/generator and/or for the continuous adjustment of the shiftable transmission () and/or for the at least partially electric driving operation of a motor vehicle. Pursuant to the invention the electric engine () can be connected to a first and/or a second shaft of the first planetary gear set () by means of two additional shift elements ().
