A firearm trigger control device, which is adapted to control the displacement of a firearm's trigger, such as to enable the discharge of a projectile upon receiving a firing signal (e.g., at a timing determined as optimal for hitting a designated target).

Firearm trigger control device

A smart aiming device includes an image sensor, a processor, and an adjustable reticle. A method of zeroing the smart aiming device includes: activating a dedicated zeroing mode: shooting at least one bullet on a zeroing target while aiming the firearm on the target using the reticle to determine an expected point of impact of the bullet on the zeroing target: imaging the zeroing target with the image sensor: identifying a location of at least one bullet hole formed by the bullet on the target, and calculating a distance between each bullet hole and the expected point of impact; and adjusting a location of the reticle respective to the bore of the firearm based on the calculated at least one distance, to thereby indicate a zeroed point of impact on the target on which a subsequent bullet shot from the firearm is expected to impact.

System and method for zeroing of smart aiming device

A telescopic sight for firearms including: magnifying elements disposed along a user optical path between an objective lens assembly and an ocular lens; an imaging system including an imaging sensor and an image processor; a digital optical augmentation (DOA) system disposed outside of the user optical path; at least one optical element adapted to: redirect a spectrum of incoming light from the objective lens assembly to the imaging sensor along a video optical path, redirect/reflect digital markings projected from the DOA system into the user optical path and disallow the projected digital markings from reaching the imaging sensor, and wherein the imaging system is adapted to capture and process imagery from the incoming light to provide image processing data.

Telescopic sight

A weapon-mounted Fire Control System (FCS) for a handheld weapon includes an imaging sensor and a processing system configured to operate in two modes. In a first mode, for handheld operation of the weapon, the processing system tracks a target, determines an aim-region with which the weapon should be aligned for firing in order to strike the target, and generates an output to facilitate accurate firing of the weapon towards the aim region. The output may indicate the aim region on a display, and/or may control a firing control mechanism. In a second mode, when the weapon is on an adjustable weapon support, the processor tracks a target, determines an aim-region, and generates output signals for controlling operation of at least one actuator of the adjustable weapon support in order to align the weapon with the aim region.

A foldable support for aiming an aimable device, including: (a) a coupling arrangement adapted to releasably couple the aimable device thereto; (b) a foldable leg mechanically coupled to the coupling arrangement; (c) two linear actuators adapted to be angularly spaced apart, the two linear actuators adjustably coupled to the coupling arrangement; and (d) a collapsible reinforcement frame selectively providing rigid interconnection between bases of each of the two linear actuators and the foldable leg, and collapsible to provide a compact portable form of the support.

A firearm aiming system comprising an imaging system comprising an imaging sensor and an image processor; and a user display, wherein the imaging system is adapted to detect a potential target on the user display based on target features. In some embodiments the system includes a firing processor with an epsilon logic module for calculating a target aim-point/area used by the firing processor to make a firing decision.

Firearm, aiming system therefor, method of operating the firearm and method of reducing the probability of missing a target

An aiming system of an aimable device includes a user display, an imaging system, user controls, a tracker, and a range finder such as a LRF. The imaging system displays, on the user display, an indicator of the direction in which the device points. The user uses the user controls to lock on a target towards which the device points according to the indicator. Then the tracker tracks the target, and the range finder measures the range to the tracked target. The tracker aims the range finder at the target, or alternatively scans the target and its background, one-dimensionally or two-dimensionally.
