A system and method for delivering olfactograms. A method includes determining a scent availability of a scent dispensing device based on a plurality of scent essence statuses, wherein each scent essence status at least includes an amount of a respective scent essence disposed in the scent dispensing device; causing a plurality of scent options to be presented to a user via a user device, wherein the plurality of scent options is based on the scent availability; generating data indicating at least one scent to be dispensed by the scent dispensing device based on at least one user input provided by the user via the user device in response to the presentation of the plurality of scent options to the user; and transmitting the generated data, wherein the scent dispensing device is configured to dispense the at least one scent based on the transmitted data.

Olfactogram techniques

Electronically controlled scent producer includes: a body, having plurality of chambers and actuators, each chamber receiving a respective scent essence, each actuator respective of a chamber and having actuator port, a first motor and second motor, and a local control unit, responsive of scent emission instructions configured to selectively activate second motor to displace body, to align a selected actuator port of an actuator respective of the selected chamber with a nozzle of a housing, and to selectively activate first motor to induce emission of the scent essence contained in selected chamber through selected actuator port, so as to produce a scent emission directed to external environment through nozzle. Activation of scent producer may be initiated according to scent track linked to audio/visual presentation, the scent track including scent emission instructions with timing information and associated scent identification information, such that predetermined scent emitted during a respective scene of presentation.

Hinge pin joint

A hinge pin joint for facilitating precise separation of the jaws of a spring clip, including a base cylinder with a threaded bore, supports extending laterally out from the base cylinder, pin supports capable of pivoting, and stabilizing wings extending from the pin supports. In one embodiment, the capability of pivoting includes pins that are integral with the pin supports and which extend out laterally from the pin support. An alternate embodiment includes aligned opening in the pin supports into which pins may be inserted. At least one stopper may be disposed on at least one of the pin supports for supporting the upper shell. The stabilizing wings are configured as plates that are semi-rigidly secured in guide structures within the lower shell.

Ear clip for medical monitoring device

In order to increase the accuracy of non-invasive glucose measurement, the device uses a combination of three non-invasive methods: ultrasonic, electromagnetic and thermal. The non-invasive glucose monitor comprises a Main Unit, which drives three different sensor channels (one per technology), located on an external unit configured as an ear clip attached to the subject's ear lobe. To effect the ultrasonic channel, ultrasonic piezo elements are positioned on opposing portions of the ear clip and thus opposite sides of the ear lobe. For implementation of the electromagnetic channel, capacitor plates are positioned on opposing portions of the ear clip and the ear lobe serves as the dielectric. The thermal channel includes a heater and a sensor positioned on the ear clip in close juxtaposition to the ear lobe.

Device for non-invasively measuring glucose

The method of monitoring or measuring the concentration of glucose level in human and animal blood uses a non-invasive technique and includes measurements of the speed of sound through the blood, the conductivity of the blood, and the heat capacity of the blood, or by non-invasive measurement of any other parameters that can be used to calculate the glucose level. Thereafter, the glucose level for each of the three measurements is calculated and the final glucose value is determined by a weighted average of the three calculated glucose values.
