This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to security for multi-link operation. A device may determine a multi-link communication with a first multi-link device comprising two or more links associated with two or more station devices (STAs) included in the first multi-link device. The device may determine a first medium access control (MAC) address associated with a first link of the two or more links. The device may determine a second MAC address associated with a second link of the two or more links. The device may generate one or more pairwise security keys to be used in the multi-link communication on the two or more links. The device may cause to send a frame to the first multi-link device using at least one combination of the one or more pairwise security keys.

Security for multi-link operation

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to security for multi-link operations. A multi-link device (MLD) may establish a first communication link between a first device of the MLD and a first device of a second MLD, and a second communication link between a second device of the MLD and a second device of the second MLD. The MLD may generate a group-addressed message. The MLD may protect the group-addressed message using a first key or a first integrity key. The MLD may protect the group-addressed message using a second key or a second integrity key. The MLD may send, using the first communication link, the group-addressed message protected using the first key or the first integrity key, and may send, using the second communication link, the group-addressed message protected using the second key or the second integrity key.

Enhanced security for multi-link wireless operations

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to basic service set (BSS) information spreading indication. A device may determine one or more collocated access points (APs). The device may determine a target beacon transmission time (TBTT) associated with a beacon interval. The device may determine a first beacon frame comprising a first multiple basic service set identification (BSSID) element. The device may determine a second beacon frame comprising a second multiple BSSID element. The device may determine a time period associated with the first beacon frame and the second beacon frame. The device may cause to send the first beacon frame at a first time to one or more station devices. The device may cause to send the second beacon frame at a second time to the one or more station devices.

Basic service set information spreading indication

An apparatus includes Radio Frequency (RF) circuitry and baseband circuitry. The RF circuitry is configured to receive strobe messages that are based on a system clock over a digital interface, and to communicate synchronously with the system clock based on the received strobe messages in accordance with a Radio Access Technology (RAT) that is selected from among multiple different RATs. The baseband circuitry is configured to generate the strobe messages, to delay the strobe messages by a delay that depends on the selected RAT, and to send the delayed strobe messages to the RF circuitry over the digital interface.

Synchronization of time accurate strobe (TAS) messages

A method in a communication device includes exchanging data between a Baseband Integrated Circuit (BBIC) and a Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) over a digital interface having a variable clock rate. The clock rate of the digital interface is modified repeatedly during a communication session conducted by the communication device, in response to changes in a current operational state of the communication device during the communication session, to a lowest clock rate that is suitable for the current operational state, so as to reduce a power consumption of the communication device.
