A liquid electrophotographic (LEP) printing device that includes a photo-imaging plate (PIP) to receive a liquid printing fluid, the liquid printing fluid including a pigment incorporated into a resin, a charge conductor, and a carrier liquid, and a transfer roller to transfer the liquid printing fluid from the PIP to a fabric substrate while wet.

A technique includes rotating a squeegee roller to regulate a film thickness of ink on a developer roller; and using the developer roller to transfer a portion of the ink from the developer roller to a photoconductive member. The technique includes creating, by an electrode, a potential bias with the developer roller to transfer the ink to the developer roller; and inhibiting flow streaks on the developer roller, where inhibiting the flow streaks includes restricting a flow of ink between the squeegee roller and the electrode.

In one example, a method for drying a developer unit of a liquid electrophotographic printer. After printing is complete, development voltage biases are applied to the developer unit while a liquid marking agent flows to the developer unit. The liquid marking agent flow to the developer unit is stopped. Drying voltage biases, lower than the development voltage biases, are applied to the developer unit. Idle voltage biases are applied to the developer unit when dry.

In one embodiment, an inkjet printer includes: a first series of print bars arranged along an arc on a first side of an arched printing unit and a second series of print bars arranged along an arc on a second side of the arched printing unit and a dryer positioned within a footprint of the arched printing unit. A plurality of web guides are arranged to guide the web along a duplex printing path past the first print bars for printing on a first side of the web, then through the dryer for drying the first side of the web, then past the second print bars for printing on a second side of the web, and then through the dryer for drying the second side of the web.
