A downhole tool for use in a well comprising a mandrel and an outer sleeve slidably disposed about the mandrel. An inner sleeve is slidably disposed in the mandrel. A drive pin comprising a drive pin bushing connected to the outer sleeve and a shear pin connected to the inner sleeve connects the inner sleeve to the outer sleeve.

The present disclosure includes a plug for cementing a wellbore. The plug may include a cylinder. The cylinder may include at least one body including a non-conductive material with conductive filaments dispersed within the non-conductive material. The present disclosure also includes float equipment for cementing a wellbore. The float equipment may include a casing segment including an inner surface, drillable material affixed to the inner surface of the casing segment, and a check valve attached to the drillable material. The drillable material may include a non-conductive material and conductive filaments dispersed within the non-conductive material.

A plug for displacing cement in a downhole environment comprising a seal surface having at least one profile. The seal surface, in response to applied pressure, creates a hydraulic seal with another device. The seal surface can be made of molded rubber and the profile formed thereon can be formed from the molded rubber and during the molding process. The profile can be a semicircular profile or multiple semicircular profiles. The profile or profiles can be one or more semicircular profiles and one or more line profiles. The plug can be a bottom plug and the seal surface can be an upstream seal surface and the other device can be a float collar. The plug can be a top plug and the seal surface can an upstream seal surface and the other device can be a bottom plug.

A stage cementing tool has a mandrel defining a central flow passage and a plurality of fully open cement flow ports. A packer disposed about the mandrel is movable from an unset to a set position. An opening sleeve is movable in the mandrel from a closed position to an open position in which the flow ports are exposed to allow flow therethrough. The opening sleeve is operable to move the setting sleeve to set the packer against the wellbore as it moves in the mandrel from the closed to the open position.

A stage cementing tool has a mandrel defining a central flow passage and a plurality of cementing passages in a wall thereof. A packer is disposed about the mandrel. A closing sleeve is detachably connected to and movable relative to the mandrel. An opening sleeve defining a plurality of fully open cement flow ports therethrough is telescopically movable relative to the closing sleeve and movable relative to the mandrel. The opening sleeve is movable to move the packer to the set position, and thereafter movable to open a cement flow path between the central flow passage and an annulus defined by the stage cementing tool and the wellbore.

Apparatuses and systems for regulating flow from a geological formation, and related methods

A buoyancy assist tool has an outer case and a rupture disk connected in the outer case. A sleeve is disposed in the outer case and movable from first to second position in the outer case. A rupture disk membrane of a rupture disk prevents the sleeve from moving to the second position prior to the rupture disk membrane rupturing. The outer case is configured to be connected in a well casing. A lock ring holds the sleeve in the first position.
