Disclosed are various approaches for generating a management token corresponding to a client device. The management token can include one or more device policies that can be installed or enforce on a client device. This can allow a device that might not be enrolled as a managed device to be taken into a facility and comply with the security policies of the facility.

Applying device policies using a management token

Systems and methods are described for establishing trust between two devices for secure peer-to-peer communication. In an example, a first and a second device can each possess a digital signature issued by the same certificate authority and a hash function issued by the same trusted entity. The devices can exchange public keys that include their respective digital signatures. The second device can verify the first device's digital signature, encrypt an encryption key with the second device's public key, hash the encryption key using its hash function, and encrypt the hash using its private key. The second device can send the encrypted hash and encryption key to the first device. The first device can verify the second device's digital signature, decrypt the encryption key, and decrypt the encrypted hash. The first device can hash the encryption key using its hashing function and compare the two hashes to verify the second device.

Establishing trust between two devices for secure peer-to-peer communication

A system includes a frequency-locked loop (FLL) circuit, a sensor-hub circuit and a processor. The FLL circuit is used to generate a low-frequency clock. The sensor-hub circuit is coupled to a number of sensors and is configured to periodically poll the sensors during polling periods and to detect sensor activities. The processor is coupled to the sensor-hub circuit and can process sensor signals from one or more active sensors. The processor is off during polling periods and is turned on when a sensor activity is detected. The polling periods are based on the low-frequency clock generated by the FLL circuit.

Ultralow-power sensor hubs

Disclosed are various approaches for providing contextual or cognitive cues that link browser tabs together within a browser application. Browser tabs that are determined to be related to one another can be colored with a similar color. A similar color can be one in which a color property is modified so that the colors appear similar to a user. Relationships between browser tabs can be determined based upon whether a browser tab was created in response to following a link within a parent browser tab.

Generating contextual cues linking related browser tabs

Disclosed are various approaches for facilitating reservation of a physical resource on behalf of a user. A physical identifier can be affixed to a physical resource. A directory service identifier can be embedded within the physical identifier. The directory service identifier can identify an email address or identifier to which reservation requests can be sent.
