The present invention provides compositions and methods for use in the treatment of hyperproliferative dermal diseases. Specifically, the present invention teaches pharmaceutical compositions for topical administration consisting essentially of a vitamin D metabolite, calcipotriol, and nicotinamide, which are particularly effective in treating and in the maintenance therapy of psoriasis and other related dermal disorders and diseases.

Compositions and methods for treating hyperproliferative epidermal diseases

The present invention provides compositions and methods for use in the treatment of hyperproliferative dermal diseases. Specifically, the present invention teaches pharmaceutical compositions for topical administration where the compositions contain nicotinamide and a vitamin D metabolite, calcipotriol, which are particularly effective in treating and in the maintenance treatment of psoriasis and other related dermal disorders and diseases.

Compositions useful in the treatment of skin atrophy and improvement of skin appearance and texture are disclosed. The methods include the topical administration of vitamin D3 or specific vitamin D3 analogs as an essential ingredient either on its own or in combination with cADPR and or nicotinamide. The compositions are particularly effective in preventing and treating signs of chronological and or photoaging including fine lines, wrinkles and discoloration.

Composition and methods for skin care

A method of treating acne by illumination comprising the steps of utilizing at least one light emitting diode (LED) by driving each of the at least one LEDs in substantially continuous wave (CW) mode of operation to generate CW light radiation in a narrow bandwidth centered at a wavelength suitable for acne relief, concentrating and projecting the CW light radiation onto an acne-affected dermal zone for biostimulative treatment thereof and maintaining the light radiation for a prescribed treatment duration, wherein each of the at least one LEDs emits light of substantially the same wavelength and wherein the acne affected dermal zone is not simultaneously illuminated by stimulating radiation of another wavelength.

A method of treating herpes by illuminating a herpes affected dermal zone with continuous wave (CW) non-coherent radiation emitted by at least one light emitting diode (LED), the radiation having a narrow bandwidth centered at a wavelength suitable for herpes treatment, and maintaining the light radiation for a prescribed treatment duration.
