A positioning method and apparatus, a WLAN device, and a storage medium are disclosed, and relates to the field of positioning technologies. The positioning method includes: a WLAN device obtains an uplink scheduling parameter sent by another WLAN device to a plurality of to-be-positioned WLAN devices, where the uplink scheduling parameter is used to indicate radio resources allocated to the plurality of to-be-positioned WLAN devices; the WLAN device receives uplink signals; and the WLAN device measures respective positioning data of the plurality of to-be-positioned WLAN devices based on the radio resources of the plurality of to-be-positioned WLAN devices and the received uplink signals. The embodiments can improve positioning timeliness of the to-be-positioned WLAN devices.

Wireless transmitter and a method for transmitting data

A wireless initiator access point comprising a communication interface with an array of antennas and configured to operate the array of antennas with a precoding configuration for multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) communication with a plurality of wireless stations; send a Null Data Packet (NDP) Announcement frame to the wireless stations; trigger a wireless participator access point to send an NDP frame to the wireless stations; receive a plurality of Compressed Beamforming frames from the wireless stations; and forward the Compressed Beamforming frames to the wireless participator access point.

Multi-antenna wireless transmitter and method with MIMO beamforming

An antenna for a wireless communication device, such as a Wi-Fi access point is provided. The antenna includes an electrically conductive radiation structure including a plurality of radially extending radiation slots, each of which has an open outer end at a perimeter of the electrically conductive radiation structure and defines a respective radiation portion of the electrically conductive radiation structure. The antenna includes a feeding network configured to feed an RF signal to the electrically conductive radiation structure, the feeding network includes a plurality of feeding arms configured to feed the RF signal into each radiation portion of the electrically conductive radiation structure for exciting each radiation portion to emit electromagnetic waves. The antenna includes a grounding structure including an electrically conductive grounding surface, which is spaced from and faces each radiation portion of the electrically conductive radiation structure for guiding the electromagnetic waves emitted by each radiation portion.

A Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) device comprises an array of multiple antennas and a circuitry configured to receive, using the array of multiple antennas, a plurality of calibration signals from a plurality of proximate wireless MIMO devices, calibrate the wireless MIMO device based on the received calibration signals and based on known directions from the wireless MIMO device to each of the proximate wireless MIMO devices, and drive the array of multiple antennas to emit a beam-formed calibration signal to each of the proximate wireless devices in order to enable each of the proximate wireless MIMO devices to calibrate itself.

An antenna device includes a plurality of dipole antennas and a port. Each of the dipole antennas is connected to the port. The plurality of dipole antennas is arranged around the port. A system of wireless communication by an access point (AP) comprising: a receiver adapted to receive a plurality of messages each originated from one of a plurality of client devices and each indicative of a spectral mask capability thereof; a processor adapted to calculate a channel assignment scheme for allocating bandwidth and/or communication channels to the plurality of client devices based on the spectral mask capability of each of the plurality of client devices; and a transmitter adapted to transmit to each of the plurality of client devices instructions to set transmission frequency based on the calculated channel assignment scheme.

An antenna device includes a plurality of dipole antennas and a port. Each of the dipole antennas is connected to the port. The dipole antennas are arranged around the port. Each of the dipole antennas comprises two ends. The device further includes a plurality of passive elements. The ends of the dipole antennas and the passive elements are interchangeably arranged around the port such that each of the passive elements is situated between ends of two different antennas from the plurality of dipole antennas. One or more switches are configured to switch between an omnidirectional state, in which the ends of the dipole antennas are not connected to the plurality of passive elements, and a directional state, in which at least one end of one of the passive elements is connected to at least one end of one of the antennas.

A method for waking up a radio communications module (RCM) of a station with a wake-up receiver includes receiving a wake-up signal with the wake-up receiver, waking up the RCM from a sleeping mode, transmitting a second frame if a first frame is received within a specified time after waking up the RCM and if an integrity of the first frame is verified successfully, and placing the RCM into the sleeping mode and the wake-up receiver into an active mode if the first frame is not received within the specified time after waking up the RCM or if the first frame is received within the specified time after waking up the RCM but the integrity of the first frame is not verified successfully.
