Aspects of the present disclosure include systems for irradiating particles in a flow stream. Systems according to certain embodiments include a light source having a first laser configured to irradiate a flow stream at a first position and a second laser configured to irradiate the flow stream at a second position and a light detection system having a single light collection component configured to collect light from the flow stream and a single photodetector array having a plurality of photodetectors configured to detect light from the lasers conveyed through the single light collection component. Methods for determining one or more parameters of a particle in a flow stream with the subject systems are also described. Non-transitory computer readable storage medium with instructions for practicing methods with the subject systems are also provided.

Systems for light detection array multiplexing and methods for same

Aspects of the present disclosure include methods for array binning data signals from a photodetector (e.g., in a flow cytometer). Methods according to certain embodiments include detecting light with a light detection system from a particle irradiated by a light source in a flow stream, generating data signals in a plurality of photodetector channels in response to the detected light and binning data signals from two or more different photodetector channels to generate combined spectral data signals. Light detection systems having a detector component and a modulator component configured to bin data signals from two or more different photodetector channels are described. Systems (e.g., particle analyzer) having a light source and a light detection system for practicing the subject methods are also described. Non-transitory computer readable storage medium is also provided.

Methods for array binning flow cytometry data and systems for same

Systems for detecting light (e.g., in a flow stream) are described. Light detection systems according to embodiments include a photodetector, an input modulator configured to modulate signal input into the photodetector and an output modulator configured to modulate signal output from the photodetector. Photodetector arrays having a plurality of light detection systems, e.g., as described, are also provided. Methods for matching output signals from two or more photodetectors (e.g., a plurality of photomultiplier tubes in a photodetector array) are also described. Flow cytometer systems and methods for detecting light from a sample in a flow stream are provided. Aspects further include kits having two or more of the subject light detection systems.

Light detection systems having input and output modulators, and methods of use thereof

Systems for detecting light (e.g., in a flow stream) are described. Light detection systems according to embodiments include two or more photodetector arrays and an optical adjustment component positioned in an optical path between the photodetector arrays. Systems and methods for measuring light emitted by a sample (e.g., in a flow stream) and kits having two or more photodetector arrays and an optical adjustment component are also provided.
