The method is for protecting the end of a cable made of a plurality of parallel tendons () anchored using a block () having a front side, a rear side and channels () extending between the front and rear sides. Each tendon of the cable is held in a respective channel of the anchor block with a blocking member (). The method comprises performing a first phase of injecting protective material () into at least some of the channels of the anchor block. A chamber () is formed on at least one side of the anchor block () so as to contain portions of the plurality of tendons. A second phase of injecting protective material () into the chamber () is then performed.

Method of protecting the end of a multi-tendon cable

The anchoring device for a cable made of plurality of tendons comprises an anchor block having a front side, a rear side and channels extending between the front and rear sides, each tendon of the cable being received in a respective channel with a blocking member. It also comprises a first protective material with which at least some of the channels of the anchor block are filled, a chamber containing portions of the plurality of tendons of the cable, located on at least one of the front and rear sides of the anchor block, and a second protective material, different from the first protective material, with which the chamber is filled.

Method of draining a system for anchoring a structural cable to a construction element, the anchor system comprising a first chamber delimited by an envelope, the first chamber containing a first part of the structural cable and a first filling material, the method comprising: inserting at least one heating element into the first filling material via an opening in the envelope of the first chamber; heating the first filling material with the aid of the heating element to fluidize some or all of the first filling material; and extracting the fluidized first filling material via an opening in the envelope of the first chamber.
