A motor for a cooling fan of a vehicle has a rotor including a driving shaft mounted so as to be rotatable in a stator and a bowl-shaped metal case, having a lateral skirt wall which extends around the stator, and having a bottom wall in which there is constructed a tubular fixing formation through which the shaft extends and which is fixed to the shaft. The tubular fixing formation of the rotor case has an internal diameter which is greater than the diameter of the driving shaft. The motor further has an intermediate insert including a tubular portion which is fixed to the shaft and on which there is fixed the tubular formation of the rotor case, and a transverse connecting portion which extends adjacent to the external surface of the bottom wall of the rotor case, and which is connected or connectable to the impeller.

A breather valve device for a container for an electronic control unit, includes a support structure including, a substantially planar wall having first and second surfaces intended to face outwardly and inwardly of the container respectively, and in which is formed an aperture, and a projecting, essentially cylindrical, tubular wall extending from the first surface of the planar wall, substantially around the aperture; an interceptor element having a smaller cross section than the passage cross section of the tubular wall and of the aperture; the interceptor element being disposed inside an axially intermediate portion of the tubular wall, spaced radially from the latter so as to define, with respect to the tubular wall, a narrow annular gap; the interceptor element being connected to the support structure by at least one connector formation. The support structure, the interceptor element and the connector formation are integrally formed in one piece of molded plastics material. The valve device further includes a membrane permeable to gases and substantially impermeable to liquids, fixed to the second surface of the planar wall of the support structure so as to cover the aperture completely.

Breather valve device for the container for an electronic control unit

The control unit comprises a printed circuit board on which is mounted a plurality of components such as MOSFET transistors, in particular components of the so-called SMD type; and a support of plastics material, including a frame which has two opposite perimetral edges and from which extends at least one external integral formation in the form of an electric connector element in which are provided electrically conductive connector terminals which have respective ends which extend partly into the frame in a direction essentially orthogonal to the general plane of the frame, towards the first perimetral edge of this latter. The frame further has a support structure which extends into the frame between the two said perimetral edges; first integral retainer formations operable to hold the printed circuit board to the frame on a first side with respect to the support structure close to the first perimetral edge of the frame; and second integral retainer formations which extend from the support structure and are directed away from the first perimetral edge, that is towards the second perimetral edge of the frame and which retains at least one independent electronic component provided with wire rheofores, such as a capacitor, on the other side of the support structure. The rheofores of this independent component and the ends of the terminals extend towards, through and beyond the said printed circuit board and are soldered to it on its face opposite the support structure.
