The invention relates to a packaging system (1) and to a method for using the same. The packaging system (1) comprises a packaging module (2), a first transport device (3) for feeding articles to the packaging module (2) in a first transport direction (TR1), and a second transport device (4) for feeding flat packaging materials (20) arranged in a first upright orientation (22sv1) in a second transport direction (TR2). The packaging system (1) comprises a handling device (5) for arranging the flat packaging materials (20) on the second transport device (4), and at least one displacement unit (8), configured to displace a plurality of upright packaging materials (20) relative to one another. The displacement unit (8) has vertically oriented side walls (9) and a support surface (10), wherein an angle differing from 90 degrees is formed between each of the side walls (9) and the support surface (10).

The present disclosure relates to a device for climate control of an interior of a machine in a food and beverage industry. The device includes an air discharge system for discharging air from the interior of the machine. The air discharge system includes a first air extraction duct configured for first selective extraction of contaminated air or second selective extraction of high-temperature air or at least two separate air extraction ducts including a first air extraction duct configured for the first selective extraction of the contaminated air and a second air extraction duct configured for the second selective extraction of the high-temperature air. A rotary machine for the treatment of containers is described. This rotary machine comprises a stationary underframe, a rotatable container table for receiving the containers, a motor designed as an internal rotor for direct drive of the container table, a bearing for supporting the container table and/or a non-rotatably connected supporting structure on the underframe radially outside the motor, and a rotary encoder for determining the rotational position of the container table. By positioning the rotary encoder radially outside the motor, the accuracy of the rotary position determination can be improved, especially for rotary machines with comparatively large pitch diameters and the accessibility of the rotary encoder for maintenance measures.
