The invention relates to a glass sheet having a luminous transmission LTD4&#x2265;87% and having a composition free of antimony and arsenic, comprising total iron (expressed in the form of FeO) from 0.002-0.04% and erbium (expressed in the form of ErO) from 0.003-0.1%. The glass sheet composition further having a redox ratio &#x2264;32% and satisfying the formula 1.3*FeO&#x2264;ErO&#x2212;21.87*CrO&#x2212;53.12*Co&#x2264;2.6*FeO. Such a glass sheet has a high luminous transmittance and has warm-toned to neutral colored edges and is particularly suitable due to its aesthetics as building glass or interior glass, as well as in furniture applications, as automotive glass, or as cover glass in electronic devices/displays.

The invention relates to glass sheet having a composition comprising the following in weight percentage, expressed with respect to the total weight of glass: Total iron (expressed in the form of FeO) 0.002-0.15% Selenium (expressed in the form of Se) 0.0003-0.005% Cobalt (expressed in the form of Co) 0.00005-0.0015%; the glass sheet being characterized in that: N&#x2264;10.3*FeO+0.11; N being defined as Formula (I). Such a glass sheet has a high luminous transmittance and has colorless/achromatic edges (very neutral in color). This invention is particularly suitable due to its aesthetics as building glass or interior glass, like for example in furniture applications.

A glass sheet having a composition comprising a total iron content of 0.002-0.03% expressed in the form of FeOand in weight percentage with respect to the total weight of glass, and further satisfying the formula N*&#x2264;0.05; N*being defined as N*=&#x221a;{square root over ((a*&#x2212;a*)+(b*&#x2212;b*))}, a*and b*being measured for a sheet thickness of 5 mm in transmission with illuminant D65, 10&#xb0;, SCI; a*and b*being computed for a sheet thickness of 0 mm in transmission with illuminant D65, 10&#xb0;, SCI. Such a glass sheet allows a color rendering of the sheet which is essentially the same whatever the view path available for an observer of the object integrating said glass sheet (when looking through its main faces or through its edges or through a zone bearing a diffusing coating).

A glass sheet having a composition which comprises total iron (expressed in terms of FeO) from 0.002-0.06 wt %; chromium (expressed as CrO) from 3-75 ppm; and manganese (expressed as MnO) from 50-1,000 ppm. The glass sheet has a LTD4 higher than 70%. Such a glass sheet exhibits at once a high luminous transmission, an increased transmission of infrared (IR) radiation and a pleasing slight color or an almost neutral to neutral color.

The invention relates to a glass sheet having high transmission of infrared (IR) radiation. More specifically, the invention relates to a glass sheet having a composition which comprises, in a content expressed as percentages by total weight of glass: SiO55-85% AIO0-30% BO0-20% NaO 0-25% CaO 0-20% MgO 0-15% KO 0-20% BaO 0-20% total iron (expressed in the form of FeO) 0.002-1%, CrO0.001-0.5% Co 0.0001-0.5% Se 0.0003-0.5%. By virtue of its high transmission of IR radiation, said glass sheet can advantageously be used in a device using a technology requiring very good transmission of IR radiation, whether through the main faces or starting from their edge (for example, a screen or panel or pad) The invention thus also relates to the use of such a glass sheet in a device using infrared radiation propagating essentially inside said sheet.

A laminated glazing includes (i) a first outer sheet of glass; (ii) an electrically powered functional film; (iii) an infrared reflecting means arranged between the first sheet of glass and the functional film; (iv) at least one first thermoplastic insert arranged between the infrared radiation reflecting means and the functional film; and (v) a second outer sheet of glass. The laminated glazing includes at least the first outer sheet with infrared reflection RIRV so that RIRV&#x2265;1.087*TLV, where TLV is the light transmission of the sheet of glass, and the infrared reflecting means is characterized by light transmission TLC so that TLC&#x2265;1.3*TIRC, where TIRC is the infrared transmission of the infrared radiation reflecting means.

The invention relates to substrates, in particular to transparent substrates, optionally colored, coated with an infrared-reflecting layer and capable of being used as glazing in buildings or in vehicles. Said coated substrates are made up of the combination of a glass substrate in which the composition has a redox of less than 15%, characterized by infrared reflection RIRso that RIR&#x2265;1.087*TL, wherein TLis the light transmission of the glass, and an infrared reflecting layer characterized by light transmission TLso that TL&#x2265;1.3*TIR, wherein TIRis the infrared transmission of the layer.
