An aircraft engine, has: an oil circuit fluidly connecting an oil reservoir to components of the aircraft engine; and a de-aerator fluidly connected to the oil circuit and located downstream of the components relative to a flow of the oil through the oil circuit, the de-aerator feeding the flow of the oil into the reservoir, the de-aerator having: a nozzle extending from a nozzle inlet to a nozzle outlet along a flow passage delimited by a peripheral wall, the peripheral wall extending around a central axis of the nozzle, a flow circulating area of the flow passage decreasing from the nozzle inlet to the nozzle outlet; and a deflector projecting from the peripheral wall of the nozzle at the nozzle outlet, the deflector having a curved section extending between a proximal end at the nozzle outlet and a distal end, the deflector intersected by the central axis of the nozzle.

Oil de-aerator for aircraft engine

The bearing assembly can extend between a rotor and a housing, have a plurality of bearing rolling elements mounted for rotation within a bearing ring, an oil damper cavity between the bearing ring and the housing, an oil inlet path to feed the oil damper cavity, and at least one damper ring defining a corresponding axial limit to the oil damper cavity and having a radially inner edge received in a corresponding annular groove defined in the bearing ring, and a radially outer edge having at least one arc portion extending radially outwardly relative the annular groove and engaging the housing, and at least one controlled leakage portion radially recessed from the housing and forming a leakage path leading axially out from the oil damper cavity.

Bearing assembly, associated method of damping, and damper ring thereof

The gas turbine engine assembly can include a first component having a male fit perimeter, a second component having a female fit perimeter forming an interference fit with the male fit perimeter, one of the first component and the second component having a pulling lip spanning transversally and further spanning peripherally, and a structure holding the pulling lip transversally offset from the interference fit, the structure having a bending portion extending at least partially transversally.
