A technique provides for stimulating or otherwise treating multiple intervals/zones of a well by controlling flow of treatment fluid via a plurality of flow control devices. The flow control devices are provided with internal profiles and flow through passages. Mechanical darts are designed for engagement with the internal profiles of specific flow control devices, and each mechanical dart may be moved downhole for engagement with and activation of the specific flow control device associated with that mechanical dart.

The current application discloses various embodiments where a portion of a fluid end pump body is made of a first material the other parts of the pump body are made of a second material where the first material is a material having better resistance to fatigue and the second material used is a material of less quality and cheaper than the first material.

The power end and at least one of the plurality of pump bodies being connected together by a tie rod having a rod portion and a sleeve portion, wherein the sleeve portion surrounds the rod portion and abuts the power end at an end and at least one of the pump bodies of the fluid end at an opposite end.

A multiplex fluid pump assembled from a plurality of pump bodies connected side by side between opposing end plates with a plurality of fasteners tightened to compress the pump bodies between the end plates. Raised surfaces on opposite exterior side surfaces of each pump body are engaged with an adjacent end plate or an adjacent pump body to apply a pre-compressive force at the raised surfaces and thereby inhibit the initiation of fatigue cracks.

Methods for generating geometric databases of coiled tubing inspection data and using the data in job design, real time monitoring and automated feedback control of operations are described. One method includes creating a grid of spatial positions on a length of coiled tubing as it traverses through an inspection apparatus having a plurality of sensors for detecting defects in the coiled tubing. Real time data may be compared to historical or nominal data for the coiled tubing. Another method includes monitoring, in real time or near real time, the status of tubing dimension (thickness, diameter, ovality, shape) during a coiled tubing operation, such as acidizing, fracturing, high pressure operations, drilling, and wellbore cleanouts.
