There is provided a display panel module unit having a narrow frame suitable for a display unit of a small-sized measuring apparatus. A panel module unit includes a first panel part, a second panel part, and an intermediate cover housed in a housing part in order from a front side to a rear side. The housing part includes an annular side wall and at least one fixing means attached on an inner peripheral surface of the side wall, and the fixing means is a means for fixing a position of the intermediate cover in the housing part. The second panel part is housed between the first panel part and the intermediate cover, and a position of the second panel part is indirectly fixed by the intermediate cover. The second panel part is provided with a biasing means for biasing the first panel part from the rear side toward the front side.

Panel module unit

A measuring instrument is configured to detect a displacement of a contact point provided to be movable and to digitally display a measured value on a display unit provided on an outer surface of a case. The measuring instrument includes an input unit. The input unit is provided on the outer surface of the case and is configured to allow a user to input to the input unit through a manual operation. The input unit includes a sensor which is configured to detect an amount of operation and a speed of operation. The amount of operation is converted into a conversion value in view of the speed of operation and then is displayed on the display unit.

Measuring instrument that detects displacement of a contact point

A measurement instrument includes a display configured to display information; a display controller configured to control displaying of the information on the display; and a reflector configured to invert the information displayed on the display via specular reflection. Since the measurement instrument includes the reflector configured to invert the information displayed on the display via specular reflection, information can be seen via the reflector even when the information is difficult to read directly from the display. Thus, the measurement instrument can improve visibility of the information displayed on the display.

An external device is configured to be detachably attached to a measuring instrument via a connector. The external device includes a connector part, an external device body part and a movable connection part. The connector part has a connection terminal. The external device body part has a display part on a side surface of the external device body part. The movable connection part is configured to connect the connector part with the external device body part. The movable connection part is a biaxial rotation hinge having two pivot axes which are in a twisted position relationship with respect to each other.

A measuring instrument includes a main body casing, a detector on the main body casing and detecting an amount of stylus head displacement, a display on an outer surface of the casing; a plurality of key switches on the outer surface, a menu proximate the display on the outer surface, and a display controller controlling the display. The display includes a main display and a cursor display, which is arranged in a location alongside the menu and displays a cursor pointing to the menu, and performs control such that a measured value based on an amount of displacement is displayed, but the cursor is not displayed when in a measurement mode where the detector detects the amount of displacement, and such that a cursor is displayed so as to point to the menu corresponding to a selected menu when in a settings mode where measurement conditions are set.

Digital dial gauge

A micrometer with good usability is provided. A micrometer has a frame with an anvil at one end and a spindle at another end, the spindle moving closer to or further away from the anvil. The frame is covered with a heat shield cover. The heat shield cover has a first anti-slip part. The first anti-slip part preferably has a plurality of protrusions.
