A vehicle seat including: a tilt down mechanism configured to sink down a seat cushion in conjunction with forward tilting down movement of a seat back, wherein the tilt down mechanism couples a rear part of the seat cushion to a base on a floor by a rotary shaft, couples a front part of the seat cushion to the base via a front link, and further includes a power transmission member that couples the front link and the seat back, and wherein the tilt down mechanism is configured so that the power transmission member tilts the front link downward in conjunction with the forward tilting down movement of the seat back, thereby sinking down the front part of the seat cushion about the rotary shaft.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat including: a tilt down mechanism configured to sink down a seat cushion in conjunction with forward tilting down movement of a seat back; and a link member coupled between the seat back and the seat cushion, wherein the link member is coupled to be slidable relative to either of the seat back and the seat cushion so that, when the seat back is moved within a region in which the seat back is raised from a forward tilted down position, the link member transmits power from the seat back to the seat cushion to pull up the seat cushion, and when the seat back is tilted within an adjustment region of a backrest angle of the seat back, the link member releases the transmission of the power from the seat back to the seat cushion.

A vehicle seat including: a tilt down mechanism configured to sink down a seat cushion in conjunction with forward tilting down movement of a seat back, wherein the tilt down mechanism couples a rear part of the seat cushion to a base on a floor by a rotary shaft, couples a front part of the seat cushion to the base via a front link, and further includes a power transmission member that couples the front link and the seat back, and wherein the power transmission member is configured by a link member of a rigid body and is configured to, when the seat back is raised from a forward tilted down position, transmit the movement of the seat back to the front link to raise the front link to thus pull up the seat cushion from a downward sunk position.

Embodiments of the present invention may include a frame structure for a vehicle seat having two frames, a pile portion, and a section modulus reducing configuration. The two frames extend in a specific direction. At the pile portion, the two frames abut each other in a direction perpendicular to the specific direction and connected to each other. The section modulus reducing configuration is formed at an edge portion in the specific direction of the pile portion, and is configured to achieve a reduction in section modulus.

Frame structures for vehicle seats

A reclining structure of a vehicular seat is provided with: a coupling shaft configured to couple a seat back to a vehicle main body; a slide rail provided at a side part of the vehicle main body and having a curved guide shape; a slider mounted to the slide rail; an attaching and detaching mechanism configured to detachably engage the slider and the seat back with each other; and a slide lock mechanism configured to lock movement of the slider. The slide lock mechanism is provided with: a lock member guided by and mounted to the slider to be slidable in a diametrical direction; a cam member mounted to the slider to straightly push out the lock member in the diametrical direction; and a lock teeth having a teeth face arranged to face in the diametrical direction along the guide shape of the slide rail.

Reclining structure of vehicular seat

A seat back frame includes a main frame that forms a frame of a seat back of a main seat, and an auxiliary frame that forms a frame of a seat back of an auxiliary seat adjacent to the main seat in a width direction, and that is integrally formed with the main frame. The main frame has a first open portion that opens toward a side with the auxiliary seat in the width direction. An end portion of the auxiliary frame is a fitting structure that fits together with the first open portion, and a portion of the fitting structure is welded.

Seat back frame

A hook that constitutes a locking device is pushed and rotated in accordance with movement of a striker that moves into a recessed portion of a base plate, and the striker S is sandwiched between the hook and the recessed portion. As the hook rotates, a pole rotates under bias force to a position at which the pole is engaged with the hook, so as to restrict rotation of the hook for returning to the initial position. The hook, when placed in the initial position, is held in a condition in which a corner portion of the hook is pressed under bias force against a stopper face of the pole, such that the hook is inhibited from rotating. The stopper face is curved in the shape of an arc drawn about a first support shaft that supports the pole.

Locking device

A gear assembly may include first and second gear wheels meshing with each other and having a meshing line. The meshing line is formed as a combined line that is positioned between first and second curves to determine a meshing range of the meshing line, so as to extend from a point on the first curve positioned radially inside the second curve in a circumferential direction in which the second curve is radially outwardly spaced from the first curve and to reach a point on the second curve. The combined line is composed of a combination of a plurality of line portions.

Connecting devices

Each of reclining devices is formed so as to have a different size. An external gear wheel of each of the reclining devices has a diameter smaller than an internal gear wheel thereof and has a teeth number different from the internal gear wheel. The internal gear wheels and the external gear wheels of the connection devices respectively have the same teeth number as each other. The internal gear wheels and the external gear wheels of the connection devices are formed such that distances between centers thereof are equal to each other. Further, a meshing line of the internal gear wheel and the external gear wheel of each of the connection devices is formed between two curves defining a meshing range and is drawn as a line that extends from a side of a radially inwardly positioned curve in a circumferential direction in which the two curves are gradually spaced from each other and reaches to a side of a radially outwardly positioned curve.

Rotation mechanism

A reclining device as a connecting device includes an internal gear member, an external gear member and a retainer member. The retainer member is constructed such that when retainer strips are axially inserted into depressed portions formed in an outer circumferential portion of the external gear member and then insertion distal ends of the support strips are radially inwardly bent to form contact surface portions, the contact surface portions can be axially held against the outer circumferential portion of the external gear member. The external gear member has dowels that are capable of being fitted to a cushion frame, and the dowels are formed circumferentially in locations positioned between the depressed portions (the locations in which projected portions are formed), so as to be axially projected.

Connection devices

An internal gear member and an external gear member of a reclining device are axially inserted into a cylindrical interior of a retainer member in order, so that the internal gear member that is inserted first faces a first bottom surface that is formed in an insertion direction side end periphery of the retainer member, and that the external gear member that is inserted later contacts a second bottom surface that is positioned closer to a reception side relative to the first bottom surface. A reception side end periphery of the retainer member is bent radially inwardly, so that the external gear member is integrated with the retainer member. A rear outer surface corresponding to a rear side surface of the first bottom surface of the retainer member has a radial width that corresponds to at least the sum of a radial width of the first bottom surface and a radial width of the second bottom surface.

Rotation prevention devices of vehicle seat

One aspect of the present invention can include a connecting apparatus for rotatably connecting a first and second object member of a vehicular seat relative to each other having a first and second connecting member and a holding member. The first and second connecting member are integrated in a direction of matching disks thereof to be able to rotate relative to each other. The first connecting member is integrally attached to the first object member. The second connecting member is integrally attached to the second object member. The holding member straddles outer peripheral surfaces of the first and second connecting member to hold the connecting members in a plate thickness direction. The holding member is provided with an opening portion. The first connecting member is provided with a protruding portion. The protruding portion extends through the opening portion in a radial direction, and the protruding portion is attached to the first object member.

Connecting apparatuses for vehicular seats

A gear assembly may include first and second gear wheels meshing with each other and having a meshing line. The meshing line is formed as a circular arc that is positioned between first and second curves to determine a meshing range of the meshing line, so as to extend from a point on the first curve positioned radially inside the second curve in a circumferential direction in which the second curve is radially outwardly spaced from the first curve and to reach a point on the second curve. The circular arc is centered on a center point that is offset from a reference straight line passing through a pitch point of first and second pitch circles of the first and second gear wheels and centers of the first and second pitch circles.

Tooth shapes of gears are formed such that a meshing line given by meshing of an inner gear and an outer gear provided in a state of meshing with each other for enabling transmission of a power is configured as a spiral mesh line.

Gears and coupling apparatus using the gears

A connecting device may include first and second connecting elements that are axially oppositely coupled to each other so as to be rotatable relative to each other, and a retainer member that is arranged and constructed to clamp the first and second connecting elements. The second connecting element has a plurality of radially projected portions and a plurality of radially depressed portions that are respectively formed in a circumferential end surface thereof. The retainer member has a first retainer portion, a second retainer portion, a plurality of fixing portions and a plurality of supplemental retainer portions. The supplemental retainer portions are arranged and constructed to be axially supported by a support die of a crimping machine when the end peripheries of the fixing portions are crimped while the second retainer portion is axially supported by the support die.
