A wiring module to be attached to a plurality of power elements which store or generate power includes a bus bar connecting the power elements to each other or connecting the power element and a load to each other, an abnormality detection element detecting an abnormality of the power element, and an insulating protector holding the bus bar and the abnormality detection element. The insulating protector is integrally provided with a first holding shaft portion and a second holding shaft portion which position and hold the bus bar by fitting the bus bar there onto, and an element holding portion which position and hold the abnormality detection element by fitting the abnormality detection element there into.

Wiring module

A sensor unit disclosed herein is a temperature sensor unit to be attached to an energy storage device. The temperature sensor unit includes an FPC to be positioned on an energy storage device body, a temperature sensor connected to a detection line of the FPC, a housing disposed on the FPC and covering the temperature sensor, and a biasing member elastically and deformably held in the housing and configured to bias the lower housing of the housing toward the energy storage device body by elastic restoring force to bring the temperature sensor into contact with the energy storage device body with the FPC therebetween.

Sensor unit and energy storage module

A sensor mounting structure includes an insulator and a temperature sensor. The insulator is attached to a wall of a case of an electric storage component to hold an electrode terminal projecting from the case and insulating the electrode terminal from the case. The temperature sensor includes a temperature sensing portion, a locking portion, and a spring portion. The temperature sensing portion holds a temperature sensing component and includes a temperature sensing surface that contacts the wall of the case. The locking portion is locked to the insulator. The spring portion presses the temperature sensing portion to hold the temperature sensing surface in close contact with the wall of the case.

Sensor mounting structure

A battery pack installed in a vehicle, includes battery cells including relief valves and exhausting gas through the relief valves; gas-ventilation-passage defining portions each of which includes an inner surface and an outer surface, and is provided with a gas ventilation passage on the inner surface side to allow the gas exhausted from the relief valves to pass through the gas ventilation passage; and a temperature sensor disposed on the outer surface side of the gas-ventilation-passage defining portion to measure the temperature of the inside of the gas ventilation passage via the gas-ventilation-passage defining portion.

Battery pack

A battery device includes: a battery stack including a plurality of battery cells arranged along a predetermined straight direction; a pair of end members that are spaced apart from each other in the straight direction and sandwich the battery stack to prevent battery cells from moving; a temperature adjusting part which includes a heat exchange part for exchanging heat with the battery stack and a flowing passage in which a fluid for exchanging heat with the heat exchange part is flowing; and an end member fixing part to which the end members are fixed. The temperature adjusting part and the end member fixing part are integrally united into a single piece structure made of metal.

Battery device

A through hole is provided in an insulating member. A bus bar is provided in the insulating member and constructed to electrically connect adjacent modules to each other when the insulating member is attached to a fixing member. A fastening bolt fastens the insulating member to the fixing member by being coupled to a nut through the through hole. A nut is provided in the through hole, and the through hole is provided to extend toward the fixing member when the insulating member is attached to the fixing member.

Connection member

A connection module includes: a plurality of bus bars that connect positive and negative electrode terminals of adjacent power storage elements of a plurality of power storage elements; and a sheet member that holds the plurality of bus bars arranged in an alignment direction of the plurality of power storage elements. The sheet member includes: a plurality of hold portions that hold the bus bars; and extension and contraction portion that is positioned between adjacent hold portions and has an extension and contraction distance equal to or longer than an electrode pitch tolerance between the positive and negative electrode terminals of the adjacent power storage elements in the alignment direction of the plurality of power storage elements.

Connection module

A connection module includes bus bars connecting positive and negative electrode terminals of adjacent power storage elements, a first sheet member that is expandable, and second sheet members fixing each of the bus bars independently. Each of the bus bars includes a fitting portion extending from one edge of the plate member with respect to a width direction (an arrow Y-direction) and fitting in a fixing portion of each second sheet member. The first sheet member holds each second sheet member to which each of the bus bars is fixed, and the first sheet member is expandable at sections between adjacent second sheet members in a longitudinal direction of the first sheet member in a distance of a maximum value of tolerance &#x394;L max that is a total value of tolerances of an electrode pitch with respect to an arrangement direction in which the adjacent power storage elements are arranged.

Connection module for a power storage element group

A connection module is a flat-shaped connection module that is to be attached to a power storage element group formed by aligning a plurality of power storage elements with positive and negative electrode terminals and includes a first bus bar module, a second bus bar module, and insulating fixing members. The first and second bus bar modules include sheet members that hold the plurality of bus bars arranged in an alignment direction of the power storage elements. The fixing members are coupled to the sheet members to integrate and fix the first bus bar module and the second bus bar module.

A connection module includes a first bus bar, a second bus bar and a connection unit. The connection unit includes a housing case having an insulation property and having a housing space formed therein, and a fastening member disposed inside the housing space. The connection unit is provided with a tool insertion hole through which a tool to be attached to the fastening member is insertable. The fastening member is configured to electrically connect the first bus bar and the second bus bar that are disposed inside the housing space. An insulation member is disposed in a portion of the fastening member that is visible through the tool insertion hole when the fastening member is seen through the tool insertion hole.

A battery case enables a battery cell to be placed in a continuously pressured state without increasing the complexity of the battery module manufacturing process. Specifically, the battery case has: a plastic first accommodation unit and second accommodation unit in which a laminated body of a battery cell is accommodated; a UD tape integrally positioned on a first side wall, a second side wall, and a third side wall, which form the first accommodation unit; and a UD tape integrally positioned on the first side wall, which form the second accommodation unit. The UD tapes are configured, in particular, to be positioned straddling the third side walls from the second side walls across the first side wall.

Battery case

A battery mounting structure for a vehicle, the battery mounting structure includes: a plurality of vehicle body frame members that is arrayed in a vehicle width direction of the vehicle and is part of a lower frame of a vehicle body; and a plurality of cell stacks that each include a plurality of single cells. Each of the cell stacks is configured to be restrained onto the vehicle body.

A spacer includes: a first projection being in contact with the battery cell; a second projection being in contact with the battery cell; a third projection adjacent to the first projection, and being in contact with the battery cell; a first inclined portion connecting the first projection and the third projection; a fourth projection adjacent to the second projection, and being in contact with the battery cell; a second inclined portion connecting the second projection and the fourth projection; and a fifth projection and a sixth projection being out of contact with the battery cells between the third projection and the fourth projection. When the battery cells expand, the fifth and the sixth projections come into contact with the battery cells.

The battery pack is arranged on the first tray. The first tray is arranged on the floor panel of the motor vehicle. The first flange portion is provided on a first peripheral edge. The first peripheral edge is a peripheral edge of the first tray. The battery pack-associated component is arranged on the second tray. The second tray is arranged on the floor panel of the motor vehicle. The second flange portion is provided on a second peripheral edge. The second peripheral edge is a peripheral edge of the second tray. The second flange portion is located above the first flange portion in a vertical direction of the motor vehicle. The second flange portion overlaps with the first flange portion in the vertical direction of the motor vehicle. The first flange portion projects toward the second tray side. The second flange portion projects toward the first tray side.
