An object is to provide a water treatment device which can treat for-treatment water containing fluorine components into a state adaptable to the environment and which can treat nitrogen compounds without influencing a concentration of the for-treatment water containing the nitrogen compounds. The water treatment device includes: a fluorine content removing unit to separate a substance to be removed from the for-treatment water in which the substance to be removed including a fluorine content is mixed; an electrochemical treatment unit including at least a pair of electrodes submerged at least partially in the for-treatment water, from which the substance to be removed has been separated, to perform a treatment by an electrochemical technique; and a biological treatment unit which biologically treats the water treated by the electrochemical technique.

Water treatment device

There is provided a method for treating for-treatment waste water containing an organic matter and a nitrogen compound, which can quickly and efficiently treat the for-treatment water containing the organic matter and the nitrogen compound and greatly reduce a power consumption amount, and which can be achieved by a relatively compact apparatus. A gist is that in treatment of the for-treatment water containing the organic matter and the nitrogen compound, the followings are carried out: an electrochemical treatment step of immersing at least a pair of electrodes at least partially in the for-treatment water to treat the nitrogen compound thereof by an electrochemical technique; and a biochemical treatment step of biochemically treating the nitrogen compound in the for-treatment water after completion of the electrochemical treatment step.

Method for treating for-treatment water containing organic matter and nitrogen compound

A heated ultrasonic treating device () comprising a sump () through which suspended matter-containing liquid passes, a temperature-controllable heater () disposes in the sump (), and a ultrasonic vibrator () disposed in the sump (). The heated ultrasonic treating device () uses the ultrasonic vibrator () to apply ultrasonic waves while heating organic drain passing the sump () with the heater (), thereby pulverizing suspended matters and reducing the amount of SS. In addition, a treating column, where pulverized suspended matter-containing liquid is aerobically treated by aerobic microorganisms, is prevented from efficiency lowering due to clogging.

A primary treating tank (10) comprises a filling layer (14) and a foam glass layer (16) below the filling layer (14). The foam glass layer (16) contains foam glass grains each of which is larger in a grain diameter than a wood chip of the filling layer (14) so that the foam glass layer (16) is superior in water passing ability to the filling layer (14). In this arrangement, a space ratio is larger with a lower layer. This arrangement promotes smooth downward shifting of primary treated water. A secondary treating tank (30) also has a laminating structure including a filling layer (34) and a form glass layer (36). As air is supplied to the foam glass layer (36), the filling layer (34) is kept in a preferable aerobic condition so that preferable aerobic biological treatment is carried out on the treated water supplied from the primary treating tank (10).
