The surface profile of a coating material in a substrate width direction is optimized in coating a substrate with the coating material such as an electrode active material. A gap adjuster configured to adjust a gap between a nozzle for ejecting a coating material and a substrate to be coated with the coating material, a rotation speed adjuster configured to adjust a rotation speed of a pump for pressure-feeding the coating material to the nozzle, a model calculator configured to calculate a surface profile of the coating material based on an end region model and a central region model wherein the end region model models profiles of rising regions in the surface profile of the coating material in a width direction of the substrate and the central region model models a profile of a central region between the rising regions in the surface profile, a comparator configured to compare a predetermined set profile with the surface profile of the coating material calculated by the model calculator, and a control calculator configured to calculate a control amount of at least one of the gap adjuster and the rotation speed adjuster based on a comparison result of the comparator are included.

Control system and control method

A double-sided coated substrate transport device () is described. A die head for front face coating () and a die head for back face coating () coat a coating liquid onto a substrate. A drying oven () dries the coating liquid applied to the substrate (), to form coating films on the front and back faces of the substrate (). A first and second rotating body unit (A,B) are respectively furnished independently at widthwise edge sections of the substrate (). Each of the first and second rotating body units has a free roller () and a drive roller () constituting a pair of rotating bodies, and a rotating body swivel section (). The free roller () and the drive roller () grip the widthwise edge sections of the substrate () from the front and back sides. The rotating body swivel section () allows the orientation of the free roller () and the drive roller (), respectively, to be modified separately for the first rotating body unit (A) and the second rotating body unit (B), so that the rotation axis of the free roller () and the drive roller () is inclined towards the downstream side in the substrate transport direction as seen from the outside in the substrate widthwise direction, with respect to a line perpendicular to the substrate transport direction.

Direction regulator of display

An aircraft piston engine control system according to the present invention has a fuel supply passage for supplying fuel to the engine. A fuel regulation device is arranged in the fuel supply passage, is linked to a throttle lever, and regulates an amount of fuel so as to realize a first air-fuel ratio which is more rich than the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio. A fuel decreasing passage is connected to the fuel supply passage between the fuel regulation device and the engine. A fuel decreasing device is arranged in the fuel decreasing passage, and decreases an amount of fuel regulated by the fuel regulation device so as to realize an optimum air-fuel ratio according to the current engine operating condition.

Aircraft piston engine control system

A control apparatus for a gas turbine engine comprises an accelerating condition detecting mechanism and an operating speed control mechanism. The accelerating condition detecting mechanism detects the degree of acceleration in the engine. The operating speed control mechanism controls, depending upon the degree of the acceleration, the speed for opening variable nozzles installed in the inlet portion of a power turbine of the engine, and/or variable inlet guide vanes installed in the inlet portion of a compressor of the engine.
