A head unit of an ink jet printer is formed with a mist removing space for removing an ink mist generated when an UV ink is discharged by an ink jet head from a gap between the head unit and a table, where the mist removing space is formed with a gas introducing port, arranged at a position between the ink jet head and the LED, for the gas to be introduced from the gap side between the head unit and the table to the mist removing space, an intake port for the gas to be suctioned from the mist removing space toward a sirocco fan side by an airflow generated by the sirocco fan, and a gas discharging port, arranged separately from the intake port, for the gas to be discharged from the mist removing space.

Inkjet printer

An inkjet recording device is provided. Two rails are each provided on left and right sides of a printer head, and three LED modules are provided on inner rows In and one LED module is provided on outer rows of the rails. These LED modules can move on the rails in a sub scanning direction. At a position, the LED modules become adjacent in a main scanning direction, whereby a total quantity of light becomes '200'. At other positions, the quantity of light is '100'. In this invention, providing the LED modules movably on the outer rows enables to configure a curing section at an arbitrary position, so that a required quantity of light can be obtained, whereby the printing speed does is not decreased; and further, the number of the LED modules can be suppressed, and cost for an ultraviolet lamps of a carriage can be reduced.

Inkjet recording device

Provided is an ink-jet printer including a printer head which ejects ink onto a medium while moving relative to the medium in a main-scanning direction, an LED module which exposes the ink ejected onto the medium to light while moving in the main-scanning direction together with the printer head so as to cure the ink, and LED light sources which are provided to the LED module at a position near the medium, which are plurally arranged at least in the main-scanning direction, and which are divided into a plurality of areas in accordance with an arrangement position with respect to the LED module to adjust an amount of light during light emission for each area.

Ink-jet recording apparatus

An inkjet printer system includes a print head, a sub tank, and a sensor. The print head is configured to eject ink. The sub tank includes an ink supply chamber and an ink detection chamber. The ink supply chamber has an ink inlet hole and an ink outlet hole connected to the print head. Ink is supplied to the sub tank through the ink inlet hole. Ink is supplied to the print head from the sub tank through the ink outlet hole. The ink detection chamber communicates with the ink supply chamber. The sensor is configured to detect an amount of ink contained in the sub tank and includes a float member provided in the ink detection chamber to float in the ink.
