A liquid crystal display device, includes: a liquid crystal display panel having a first substrate and a second substrate with a display area and a non-display area; a backlight that irradiates the liquid crystal display panel with light; an adhesive layer that adheres the liquid crystal display panel to the backlight; a first polarizing plate stuck onto the first substrate; and a second polarizing plate stuck onto the second substrate, in which an outer edge of the second polarizing plate is located outside an outer edge of the second substrate, a light impermeable film and an alignment mark part are formed in the non-display area of the first substrate, and the light impermeable film and the alignment mark part are different in infrared transmittance or infrared reflectance.

Liquid crystal display device and method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a display module including a display area which displays an image, a cover member including a transmissive portion opposed to the display area, a first color portion opposed to a peripheral area on an outside of the display area of the display module, and a second color portion located on an outside of the first color portion, and a photosensitive resin which adheres the display module and the cover member to each other, wherein the first color portion has a higher transmittance of light of a wavelength for curing the photosensitive resin than the second color portion.

According to one embodiment, an inspection apparatus includes a first monochromatic body disposed behind an inspection target including a transparent member or a semitransparent member, relative to an observation position which deviates from a normal direction of the inspection target, a light source configured to illuminate the inspection target and disposed at such a position in front of the inspection target that an image of the light source is not reflected on the inspection target which is observed at the observation position, and a second monochromatic body disposed at such a position in front of the inspection target that an image of the second monochromatic body is reflected on the inspection target which is observed at the observation position.
