A transmission device is comprised of a clutch disconnectably and drivingly coupling a first rotary member with a second rotary member; a motor including a rotor rotatable about an axis; an input member coupled with the rotor and rotatable about the axis, the input member including an eccentric shaft eccentric relative to the axis; a fixed member immovable about the axis; an intermediate member fitting with the eccentric shaft to make an eccentric motion and meshing with the fixed member to make a rotary motion about the eccentric shaft; an output member rotatable about the axis and fitting with and following the intermediate member; and a cam mechanism intervening between the output member and the clutch to convert a rotary motion of the output member into a motion in a direction along the axis to press the clutch.

Transmission device

A driving force distribution/transmission device suppresses a shift of lubrication oil when a vehicle makes a turn, smoothly lubricates sliding parts, and improves reliability. The driving force distribution/transmission deviceincludes a gear input rotary memberand a gear output rotary memberthat are interlocked to transmit a driving force through the meshing of a drive pinion gearand a ring gear; and a left-right pair of clutch output adjusting mechanismsandcoupled with both ends of the gear output rotary member, to carry out a driving force output adjustment through the engagement of frictional multiplate clutches. A closed and partitioned gear roomcontains the drive pinion gearand ring geartherein. The main clutchesare contained in a left-right pair of closed and partitioned clutch rooms, respectively. Lubrication spaces in the three separate rooms, i.e., the gear roomand the left-right pair of clutch roomsseparately seal gear oil and clutch oil therein.

Driving force distribution/transmission device

A power transmission deviceincludes a power transmitting mechanismhaving a first casing, a speed change mechanismand first oil and an intermittent mechanismhaving a pair of rotating members, an intermittent part, an actuator, a second casingand second oil. The second casingincludes a first casing memberhaving a cylindrical partand one end walland a second casing memberhaving another end wallconnected to the cylindrical partintegrally. The second casingfurther includes a sealing memberarranged between the rotating memberand the end wall, another sealing memberarranged between the rotating memberand the other end walland an O ring arranged between the first casingand the second casing, respectively. The second oil is enclosed in the second casing

Power transmission device

A power transfer/transmission apparatus includes clutch adjusting mechanisms that are easy to assemble and are stably supported, the power transfer/transmission apparatus has a clutch housing, the clutch housing includes a vertical wall (a flange and a vertical wall) connected to a joint shaft and a peripheral wall connected to the vertical wall and enclosing a main clutch, the flange has an output unit support that rotatably supports a first end of a clutch output unit at a position that is axially different from the position of the joint shaft, a second end of the clutch output unit includes a centering part that forms a hollow axle joint having inner splines engaged with an axle so that the axle joint and axle may rotate together.
