An injection molding machine that can prevent a stationary platen and a mold attached thereto from being tilted by applying a nozzle touch force. A connection part is mounted on a stationary platen via a connection pipe. The connection part is mounted on a connection mechanism via a block. A ball screw shaft as a nozzle touch drive mechanism is rotatably mounted on the connection mechanism. The block is adjusted for a mounting position thereof such that tilt in the stationary platen and a mold attached thereto is eliminated when the mold is attached to the stationary platen and a nozzle touch force is applied to the mold. The nozzle touch force prevents the stationary platen and the mold from being tilted.

Injection molding machine

A screw is moved along an axis by a screw advancement-retraction mechanism. A screw rotation mechanism is supported for movement along the axis by a pair of supporting members, each includes a rail for use as a guide member. The supporting members are arranged individually along tie-bars for use as lateral members and extend parallel to the tie-bars. One longitudinal end portion of each supporting member is secured to a frame of an injection unit by a fixing portion including a fixing member. The other end portion of the supporting member is supported on each tie-bar by a movable portion including a sliding member. The sliding member is movable along an axis of the tie-bar. With this arrangement, deformation, if any, of the tie-bar is prevented from affecting the rail, so that the screw rotation mechanism and the screw can move steadily.

Injection molding machine having a guide member

An injection apparatus includes a guide member on a frame via a guide member support mechanism. A screw rotation mechanism is assembled on the guide member. This prevents the guide member from being affected by deformation of the frame and allows the screw rotation mechanism to be smoothly moved. Thus, a screw rotatably coupled to the screw rotation mechanism can be smoothly moved.

A method of molding a minute shape, in which at least one of a pair of dies is provided with an uneven section of a minute shape on a molding surface thereof, clamping of the pair of dies is stopped immediately before the dies are completely clamped, a resin is injected into a cavity, and thereafter the dies are completely clamped to thereby transcribe the shape of the uneven section onto the resin includes preparing a plurality of transcription dies each provided with the uneven section on a molding surface thereof, heating one of the transcription dies which is not used to mold a product by a heating unit, and exchanging the transcription dies with each other, at a point in time at which molding is completed, to thereby mold the product continuously.
