A detection device for detecting radiation includes a container including a first portion, a second portion facing the first portion in a first direction, and a side portion extending from the first portion toward the second portion, where a gas is contained in the container, an electron detector located inside the container, where the electron detector detects an electron generated by Compton scattering, a drift electrode located inside the container closer to the second portion than the electron detector and facing the electron detector, and a radiation detector located closer to the second portion than the drift electrode, where the radiation detector detects scattered radiation.

Detection device

A radiation detection element includes a base material, a first electrode, a second electrode, a third electrode, a fourth electrode, a fifth electrode, a first external terminal, a second external terminal, a third external terminal, and a fourth external terminal. Each of the first external terminal, the second external terminal, the third external terminal, and the fourth external terminal is a solder ball, and the first external terminal, the second external terminal, the third external terminal, and the fourth external terminal are insulated from each other. A region provided on the first electrode, the second electrode, the third electrode, the fourth electrode, and the fifth electrode overlaps at least one of the first external terminal, the second external terminal, the third external terminal, and the fourth external terminal in a view vertical to the first surface side of the base material.

Radiation detection element

A front-end circuit includes a primary circuit and a diversity circuit, the primary circuit includes transmission pathsandfor transmitting a signal in a band A and in a band B, respectively. Transmission and reception of a signal in the band B are performed by a TDD system in the transmission path. The diversity circuit includes a switch, and reception pathsandthat receive a signal in the band A and in the band B, respectively. When reception signals in the band A and in the band B are simultaneously transmitted, and when a reception signal in the band A and a transmission signal in the band B are simultaneously transmitted, the switch causes the diversity antenna and each of the reception pathand the reception pathto be in a conductive state.

Front-end circuit, diversity circuit, and communication device

A radio-frequency module includes a first package where a first-transmitter circuit transmits a first transmit signal in a first transmit band based on a first communication standard and a first-receiver circuit receives a first receive signal in a first receive band based on the first communication standard, and a second package where a second-transmitter circuit transmits a second transmit signal in a second transmit band based on a second communication standard and a second-receiver circuit receives a second receive signal in a second receive band based on the second communication standard. In the first package, a third-receiver circuit receives a third receive signal in a third receive band based on a third communication standard and partially overlaps the first receive band. In the second package, the third-transmitter circuit transmits a third transmit signal in a third transmit band based on the third communication standard.

Radio-frequency module and communication device

A radiation detection device includes a detection element including a substrate having a first surface and a second surface, a first electrode on the first surface, a second electrode adjacent to the first electrode in a first direction, a third electrode adjacent to the first electrode in a second direction; a fourth electrode adjacent to the third electrode in the first direction and adjacent to the second electrode in the second direction and a fifth electrode on the first surface and between the first and second electrode, between the first and third electrode, between the second and fourth electrode, and between the third and fourth electrode; a wiring layer on the second surface and including a first wiring, a second wiring, a third wiring, and a fourth wiring; and a circuit element opposite to the wiring layer and connected to the first to fourth wiring.

Radiation detection device

A detection element includes an exposed electrode on the first surface of an insulating substrate, the exposed electrode including first exposed electrode, second exposed electrode, third exposed electrode, and fourth exposed electrode provided; a first electrode pattern provided on a side opposite to the first surface, the first electrode pattern including a pattern connected to the first exposed electrode and the second exposed electrode, a pattern connected to the third exposed electrode and the fourth exposed electrode, a second electrode pattern having a first exposed portion and a pattern provided along the second direction, and a third electrode pattern having a second exposed portion and a pattern provided along the third direction, provided so as to sandwich the third electrode pattern between the first electrode pattern and the second electrode pattern.

Detection element, radiation detection device, and compton camera

A gamma-ray image acquisition device () acquires the direction and energy of a target scattered gamma-ray generated by Compton scattering of an incident gamma-ray and acquires the direction and energy of a recoil electron. These pieces of information are used to acquire the incident direction and energy of the incident gamma-ray. The gamma-ray image acquisition device () acquires a two-dimensional image by imaging spectroscopy based on the incident directions and energies of a plurality of incident gamma-rays, the two-dimensional image being an image in which each pixel corresponding to each incident direction includes energy distribution information. In the two-dimensional image, the area and the solid angle of an imaging range are proportional to each other. This enables acquiring the distribution of gamma-ray intensities without depending on distance and thereby acquiring an image that indicates more useful information than conventional images.

Gamma-ray image acquisition device and gamma-ray image acquisition method

First and second frequency bands used for multiband communication are both higher than or equal to about 3 GHz, and do not overlap each other. The spacing between the first and second frequency bands is less than or equal to about 10% of the lower one of the lower-bound frequency of the first frequency band and the lower-bound frequency of the second frequency band. A radio-frequency circuit includes a first antenna, a second antenna, a first multiplexer connected to the first antenna, and a second multiplexer connected to the second antenna. The first multiplexer includes a first filter with a pass band including the first frequency band, and a third filter with a pass band different from the first filter. The second multiplexer includes a second filter with a pass band including the second frequency band, and a fourth filter with a pass band that differs from the second filter.

Radio-frequency circuit

A radiation detection element includes a plurality of pixel electrodes, each pixel electrodes including a first electrode placed on the first surface of an insulating member and having an opening portion and a second electrode placed at the opening portion of the first electrode. The plurality of pixel electrodes is arrayed in the row direction and the column direction. The pitch of the pixel electrodes in the row direction and the column direction is 380 &#x3bc;m or less. An area ratio between the first electrode and the second electrode falls within the range of 14.5:1 to 154.6:1.
