An imaging stand includes: a holder configured to hold an installed cassette-type detector; a supporting member configured to support the holder from a back surface side; a circular gear secured to a shaft member protruding from a rotation center of the holder toward the supporting member on the back surface side, the holder being located in a different position from a position corresponding to the center of a radiation incidence surface of the cassette-type detector held in the holder; and a linear gear having concavities and convexities to be engaged with teeth of the circular gear, the linear gear being attached to the supporting member, wherein, when the holder holding the cassette-type detector is rotated relative to the supporting member, the rotation center of the holder linearly moves relative to the supporting member as the holder rotates, and a change is caused in orientation and position of the cassette-type detector.

An image forming apparatus comprises a recording head having a plurality of recording elements arranged in array, the recording head being utilized for recording a corrective image onto a recording material, an image reading device to acquire readout information by reading the corrective image, an carrying out section to conduct calculation to obtain a correction amount of recording characteristics, from the readout information acquired by the reading device, an image forming section to form an image onto the recording material by the recording head in which a recording characteristics of the plurality of recording elements are compensated based on the correction amount, and a controller to control the recording head so as to record the corrective image on to the recording material, wherein, the readout information in the carrying out section discriminates optical density unevenness caused by a factor not being associated with the recording head.

An image-exposing apparatus includes an optical device which mixes lights coming from different directions and emits a mixed light in a unilateral direction. The optical device includes first, second and third transparent members receiving first, second and third lights from first, second and third light-emitting element rows, respectively, a first composition plane, at which the first and second transparent members are joined and form a first light selective film, a second composition plane, at which the first and third transparent members are joined and form a second light selective film, and a wavelength controlling element which excludes a wavelength region of the first light from a region between a wavelength at which P-polarization changes from transmission to reflection in the first composition plane and another wavelength at which S-polarization changes from transmission to reflection in the first composition plane.

An image exposing apparatus for exposing an image onto a light sensitive material, is provided with a plurality of light beam emitting element arrays, each light beam emitting element array emitting aligned-light beams which are aligned in at least a single line; a light mixing device for mixing a plurality of aligned-light beams emitted from the plurality of light beam emitting element arrays and for emitting mixed-aligned-light beams which are aligned in the same line; a light receiving device located so as to receive the mixed-aligned-light beams at a position where the light sensitive material is exposed; and an adjusting device for adjusting a position of each of the plurality of light beam emitting element arrays based on a light receiving result by the light receiving means.

An image exposing apparatus for imagewise exposing on a light-sensitive material, consists of: a plurality of light emitting element rows; a light mixing device for mixing light emitted from the plurality of light emitting element rows to form emergent light in a line in which rays of light are mixed on the same line; and a moving device for moving at least one of the light-sensitive material and the light mixing device, so that an exposure line that is formed when the light-sensitive material is exposed to the emergent light in a line is moved in a direction having a directional component perpendicular to the exposure line.

Fluorescent lamp

A data card wherein various data are recorded with a fluorescent material which emits infrared rays when excited by infrared rays is disclosed. The data card according to this invention has such merit that it is very effective for the preservation of secrecy and the prevention of forgery, that it is not affected by stains, that different information can be recorded thereon one over the other, and that it can be read by an extraordinarily compact reader.

Process for producing phosphors

An infrared rays excited - infrared rays emitting fluorescent material which contains predetermined quantities of neodymium and ytterbium as activators is disclosed. The fluorescent material according to this invention is higher in the luminescence intensity than a conventional, infrared rays excited - infrared rays emitting fluorescent material which is activated with neodymium only. Moreover, its maximum luminescence wavelength lies within a wavelength region which a silicon photosensor can detect at high sensitivity. It is therefore very useful in practical use.
