Provided is a power generation apparatus, which includes an internal combustion engine, and a rotary electric machine disposed adjacent to the internal combustion engine in an axial direction. The rotary electric machine includes coils to which an electric current is supplied from an external power apparatus via an electric power supply cable. Terminal parts connected to the coils and connection terminals of the electric power supply cable are connected in a predetermined connection space that is formed in part of a lower block of an engine block of the internal combustion engine.

A shift control apparatus for a vehicle which has an engine with an exhaust supercharger, and a transmission, if there is a deceleration intention of a driver, compares a target torque and an actual torque, and while the actual torque is higher than the target torque and a difference therebetween is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold value, controls a speed at which to cause a gear ratio of the transmission to change to the target gear ratio to be slower than at a time of normal shift control.

Shift control apparatus and shift control method

An internal combustion engine includes a supercharger, an oil tank, a scavenging pump, a first passage, a second passage, and a one-way valve. The supercharger is provided in an intake passage. The oil tank communicates with a crankcase via a collecting passage. The scavenging pump is provided in the collecting passage to transport a fluid in the crankcase to the oil tank. The first passage connects an upper space located above a liquid surface in the oil tank and a downstream portion of the intake passage located on a downstream side with respect to the supercharger. The second passage connects the upper space and an upstream portion of the intake passage located on an upstream side with respect to the supercharger. The one-way valve is provided in the first passage and allows the fluid to flow only from the upper space toward the intake passage.

Internal combustion engine

In a driving device of a vehicle provided with driving sources, an input shaft rotatable due to driving force of the driving sources, a continuously variable transmission mechanism that shifts the rotation of the input shaft to be transmitted to an output shaft, and a start clutch for switching presence/absence of driving force transmission from the output shaft to a downstream side; when a ratio of the continuously variable transmission is on a lower ratio side than a predetermined threshold value, the output torque control means for controlling the output torque of the driving sources perform control to restrict the upper limit of output torque of the driving sources to a value smaller than the upper limit when a ratio is on the higher ratio side than the threshold value.

Torque control device of driving source

When a driver returns an accelerator pedal, preliminary pressure increase apparatus increases a line pressure to a preliminary pressure increase value according to the speed of return of an accelerator pedal detected by an accelerator pedal return speed sensor. When a braking state sensor detects that the speed of depression of a brake pedal is a predetermined value or above, pressure increase when braking apparatus further increases the line pressure from the preliminary pressure increase value to a slip preventing pressure increase value. The line pressure is increased to a preliminary pressure increase value when it is predicted that braking will be carried out subsequent to an accelerator pedal return operation, when subsequently there is sudden braking it becomes possible to increase the line pressure to a slip preventing pressure increase value that can prevent an endless belt from slipping accompanying sudden braking.

Belt type continuously variable transmission control system

A rotatable member () such as a sprocket is rotatably mounted on a fixed shaft member (), and a first oil passage () extending in a radial direction is formed by a thrust member () abutting an axial end surface of the rotating member. The inner end of the first oil passage communicates with a radial bearing interface (A) of the rotatable member, and an oil jet ejected from an orifice () of an oil nozzle () is directed to an open outer end of the first lubricating oil passage. Because the first oil passage is fixed in position, the radial bearing interface receives an adequate supply of lubricating oil fed from the oil nozzle. The other axial end of the rotating member may be provided with a second lubricating oil passage () which also extends in a radial direction, the second lubricating oil passage having an open outer end and an open inner end communicating with the radial bearing interface. The centrifugal force acting on the lubricating oil in the second lubricating oil passage promotes a favorable re-circulation of the lubricating oil, and hence a favorable lubrication.
