It is an object to provide an inverter device capable of appropriately protecting power semiconductor elements and further realizing an optimal operation considering a withstand voltage. The inverter device includes a junction temperature estimate calculating unit which adds a temperature rise value ΔT obtained from a loss P of power semiconductor elements to a temperature Tth detected by a temperature sensor to estimate a junction temperature Tj. When the junction temperature Tj is estimated, the junction temperature estimate calculating unit performs a correction in the direction of excluding an influence of heat generation of other electronic components other than the power semiconductor elements, and a wiring pattern of a control board on a temperature sensor.

Inverter device, and vehicular electric compressor provided with same

Provided is an inverter-integrated electric compressor wherein the attachability of a coil component has been improved while reliability of a connection state at the electrical joints is ensured by simplifying a mechanism which electrically connects the coil component, such as one for removing electromagnetic noise, to a motor drive circuit. An inverter-integrated electric compressor, wherein a motor drive circuit including an inverter is surrounded by a compressor housing, is characterized in that a coil component comprising a plurality of conductor wires wound in parallel is attached to the motor drive circuit through a seat, the seat is provided with a protrusion which can be fitted into a seat affixing hole provided in a case member for housing the motor drive circuit, a plurality of terminal holes are arranged in the portion where the protrusion is provided, the plurality of conductor wires pulled out from the coil component are inserted, in a one-to-one correspondence, into the plurality of terminal holes in such a manner that the mutual interval between the wires is widened, and the end of each conductor wire is connected electrically to the motor drive circuit.

Inverter-integrated electric compressor

Provided is an inverter-integrated electric compressor having high heat resistance, which is capable of suppressing thermal interference among a plurality of power devices. Specifically provided is an inverter-integrated electric compressor which comprises a built-in motor and a substrate provided with a motor drive circuit including an inverter, an electric component including the substrate being affixed in a housing space surrounded by a compressor housing, wherein a plurality of power semiconductor elements which constitute the motor drive circuit are disposed radially around a drive shaft of the motor in a plane crossing the drive shaft. For example, the planar shape of the power semiconductor element is formed into a rectangle, and a gap having a sectorial planar shape is formed between the power semiconductor elements adjacent to each other.

Provided is an electric compressor whose manufacturing cost is reduced and in which a motor driving circuit can be positively protected. A temperature sensor is provided in the vicinity of a power semiconductor element whose temperature becomes highest among a plurality of power semiconductor elements and control of the number of revolutions of a motor is performed on the basis of temperatures detected by the temperature sensor, whereby it is possible to change the number of revolutions of the motor by using a temperature in the vicinity of a power semiconductor element in a position under the worst temperature conditions as a reference, and it becomes possible to positively protect an inverter circuit without the need for a plurality of temperature sensors.

Data transfer system, data transfer method, data transmission device and data receiving device

In a data recovery processing, the conventional overhead, primarily, latency due to a rotational recording media is removed. Secondary, in a signal processing or in a recording and reproducing apparatus, reliability of data reproduction is improved by repeatedly processing data. These processing are achieved that input signal, i.e., raw analog signal read from the recording media is digitized to be stored in a secondary storage such as a memory or a FIFO memory. The apparatus includes a signal processing circuit to repeatedly process the stored digital signal in the secondary storage. When detecting data, operation of the circuit is efficiently controlled by a change over detector parameters, in which characteristics for the detecting performance. Resultantly, data recovery processing speed is increased and reliability of data reproduced is improved.

Laser light irradiation can be performed on a recordable surface in a defocused state with a high-power laser beam with safety without incurring data destruction due to erroneous data recording or overwrite recording even in the recording on an eccentric disk or regardless of occurrence of wobbling of the disk surface. Laser irradiation is performed after moving an objective lens radially inwardly beyond a PCA located at an inner peripheral portion of the disk (or radially outwardly beyond the PCA located at an outer peripheral portion of the disk) by using a tracking coil.

Apparatus and method for calibrating laser power in an optical disk apparatus

A semiconductor device in which the lifetime of mounted components can be prolonged. A cooling system for controlling the temperature of a refrigerant through a heating section and a radiator is provided. The semiconductor device is connected to the cooling system and is cooled. A variation width (&#x394;T) of temperature controlled by the cooling system through the heating section and the radiator is smaller than a temperature variation (&#x394;T) of the refrigerant caused by variations in operating conditions of the semiconductor device (&#x394;T&#x2266;&#x394;T).

In one embodiment, a write/read apparatus includes an external interface section for data input; an external interface section for data output; a memory for temporarily storing the data that is input through the external interface section for data input and written on the recording medium and the data that is read from the recording medium and sent to the outside through the external interface section for data output; an address generating section for generating unique addresses associated with physical block addresses of the recording medium; a flag generating section for generating flags for prohibiting overwriting of the data to be written on the recording medium; and a processing section for adding the unique addresses generated in the address generating section to the data that is stored in the memory and that is to be written on the recording medium. The data with the addition of the flags generated in the flag generating section and the unique addresses is written on the recording medium.

In addition, the magnetic disk apparatus is controlled to rotate a magnetic disk at a variable rotational speed, and operated at a rotational speed at which the total power consumption is minimized in accordance with the capacity of the utilized buffer RAM and whether an access is made for recording or reproduction, thereby improving a power saving effect.
