A parking support deviceincludes a calculation unitthat calculates a speed pattern, an acceleration recognition unitthat recognizes driver-requested acceleration, a parking support control unitthat performs parking support control in a target parking position based on the speed pattern, and a determination unitthat determines whether a host vehicle V can stop in the target parking position at a set deceleration. When the driver-requested acceleration is recognized during the control and exceeds acceleration of the speed pattern at the time of recognition, the parking support control unitaccelerates the host vehicle V at the driver-requested acceleration. When the determination unitdetermines that the host vehicle V can stop in the target parking position at the set deceleration, the host vehicle V is decelerated at the set deceleration and is stopped in the target parking position regardless of the driver-requested acceleration.

Parking support device

A high efficiency antenna device suited for use in a mobile unit is provided. A pair of triplate antennas are stacked, in which a lower antenna includes a feeding probe for a horizontal polarization and an upper antenna includes a feeding probe for a vertical polarization. The feeding probes have patch edges at opposing ends in the polarization direction. A coupling slot for coupling the upper and lower antennas are disposed over the patch edges in the lower antenna. In-phase magnetic current runs through the patch edges, so that a phase match is obtained between the two slots, raising antenna efficiency. The feeding probe is disposed at an angle and oriented in a direction corresponding to a representative value of polarization angels of the traveling area, to thereby reducing polarization angle loss as a whole. In an array antenna extending in a transverse direction, the propagating direction of parallel plate mode waves at the lower antenna is matched with the longer side of the array, so that the parallel plate mode can be efficiently utilized.

Dual polarized flat antenna device

A plate antenna for use with polarized waves, wherein pairs of slots are formed in a parallel-plate waveguide, feeding waveguides supply mutually orthogonal TEM waves, the pairs of slots are arranged in a V-shaped pattern, adjacent slot pairs are arranged in mutually opposite directions, the antenna beam can be tilted by adjusting the space between the pairs of slots, and the pairs of slots can induce electric fields in the same direction for horizontal and vertical TEM waves. It is then possible to transmit and receive a horizontal polarized wave and a vertical polarized wave even when the antenna beam is tilted.
