Apparatus for driving field emission lamp

A clutch mechanism is provided between a drive wheel and an electric motor. In a high vehicle speed region, the electric motor is decoupled from the drive wheel to prevent the electric motor from over-speeding. In the high vehicle speed region, in which the clutch mechanism is switched to a disengaged condition, rotation speed control is executed on the electric motor when a state of charge falls below a predetermined lower limit value, and a motor rotation speed is maintained at a target rotation speed on a lower rotation side than an upper limit rotation speed. Further, the clutch mechanism is switched from the disengaged condition to a slip condition. Hence, a limited power generation torque is supplied to the electric motor, and thus the electric motor can be controlled to a regeneration condition while suppressing the motor rotation speed to or below the upper limit rotation speed.

Control apparatus for electric automobile

A motor transmission apparatus is provided between a transmission output shaft coupled to a drive wheel and a motor shaft coupled to a motor/generator. The motor transmission apparatus includes a first power transmission path that is switched to a power transmission condition by a high clutch having a clutch oil chamber, and a second power transmission path that is switched to a power transmission condition by a low brake having a brake oil chamber. Working oil discharged from an oil pump is guided to an oil passage switching valve via an output control valve. The working oil is distributed to one of the clutch oil chamber and the brake oil chamber by the oil passage switching valve, and therefore interlocking, in which the high clutch and the low brake are engaged simultaneously, can be avoided.

Provided herein is a light-emitting apparatus capable of achieving both improved durability and higher brightness with an inexpensive and simple construction. A heat resistant glass substrateis mounted in a vacuum chamber, and while an anode electrode(and a light emitter) is mounted on the glass substrate, the glass substrateis separated from a glass substrate. This precisely protects the vacuum chamberfrom thermal damage due to light emission upon excitation, even when the current density between the cathode electrodeand the anode electrodeis controlled at a high level to cause the light emitterto emit light at high brightness. Accordingly, this eliminates the need to make the entire vacuum chamberexcessively heat-resistant, permitting construction from an inexpensive material such as soda-lime glass; consequently both improvements in the durability of the light-emitting apparatusand enhancement in brightness thereof can be accomplished with an inexpensive and easy construction.

Provided herein is a light-emitting apparatus which is capable of causing the light emitted at the entire face of a fluorescent material to be exteriorly emitted with no interference and with enhanced light emission efficiency, thereby attaining an exteriorly radiated high brightness light. A cathode electrodeis mounted on a periphery of a transmission member, the anode electrodeis also mounted on a domain opposite to a light transmission member, and the surfaceof the fluorescent materialto be mounted on a top layer of the anode electrodeis formed with a concave face. In accordance therewith, even when the cathode electrodeis offset mounted on a periphery of the light transmission memberit can be caused to precisely face the surfaceof the fluorescent materialand the excitation light from the entire face of the surfaceof the fluorescent materialcan made incident onto the light transmission memberwithout interference from the cathode electrodeor the like.

Light-emitting apparatus

A light-emitting apparatus of the present invention maintains an anode electrodeat a higher positive electric potential than a cathode electrode, applies an electric field to a cold-cathode electron emission sourceby controlling a gate voltage applied to the cathode electrodewith a gate electrode, and emits excitation light from a phosphorirradiated by an electron beam released from the cold-cathode electron emission source. The light-emitting apparatus of this invention emits the excitation light not only from the opposite side of the electron beam-irradiated surface of the phosphorthrough a glass substrate, but also from the electron bean-irradiated surface of the phosphorby reflecting the excitation light with a gate reflection surfaceon the gate electrodeand emitting it through an unobstructed area Ro of the glass substrate. This eliminates the wasted excitation light emitted and absorbed within the apparatus as in the conventional light-emitting apparatuses to thereby improve the luminous efficiency and substantially increase the amount of light emitted outside from the entire illumination surface.

It calculates a capacity difference ESOC between a reference remaining capacity SOCV based on an open-circuit voltage and a final remaining capacity SOC in a previous one calculation cycle. It calculates a proportional correction amount and an integral correction amount according to a proportional-integral control by using this capacity difference ESOC, and requires a final remaining capacity SOC by adding a remaining capacity SOCI based on a current integration to these correction amounts. Remaining capacity calculating device and method for electric power storage

A hybrid vehicle is driven by one or both of an engine and a drive motor. The engine is started by a power generating motor, and power generated by the engine is supplied to a battery. An engine-power transmission path is provided with a coupling for being shifted to a connection state of transmitting engine power to drive wheels and a disconnection state of cutting off the transmission. In connecting the coupling while the drive motor is driven and transmitting engine torque, a revolution speed of the power generating motor is controlled based on that of the drive motor. After a revolution speed of an input-side shaft of the coupling is synchronized with that of an output-side shaft, the coupling is connected. After the coupling is connected, torque of the drive motor and engine is controlled based on required torque of the vehicle.

Control device for hybrid vehicle

When impedance calculating conditions are satisfied after a system is started, the impedance of a battery is calculated using the current of the battery, a time variation in open circuit voltage thereof, a time variation in terminal voltage thereof, a time variation in current thereof, and a time variation in impedance thereof. The ratio of the calculated impedance to the initial impedance is calculated. The impedance ratio is subjected to weighting and averaging, thus obtaining a weighted average. When the system is terminated, an impedance-correction-coefficient learned value is updated using the weighted average. Thus, a change in impedance of the battery can be accurately grasped. Advantageously, parameters indicating the state of the battery, e.g., the remaining capacity thereof, reflect the change in impedance, resulting in accurate battery management.
