A distributor distributes fluid to plural fluid outlets, the fluid flowing from a fluid inlet. The distributor includes plural branching flow paths having an upstream branching flow path, and downstream branching flow paths located closer to the fluid outlets than is the upstream branching flow path, and an intermediate flow path provided between the upstream branching flow path and one or more of the downstream branching flow paths, the intermediate flow path connecting the upstream branching flow path and the at least one of the downstream branching flow paths. The intermediate flow path has one end connected to the upstream branching flow path at a position facing one of the ends of the upstream branching flow path and the other end connected to one or more of the downstream branching flow paths at a center of the downstream branching flow path, and causes the fluid flowing from the one end to change a flow direction of the fluid and then flow out of the other end.

Distributor, heat exchanger, and refrigeration cycle apparatus

A heat exchanger includes: a plurality of flat tubes arranged in a height direction of the heat exchanger; a connection portion in which a plurality of connection spaces are provided as spaces with which ends of the plurality of flat tubes are connected; and a refrigerant distributor connected to each of the plurality of connection spaces. The flat tubes each have a first side end portion located on a windward side, a second side end portion located on a leeward side, and a plurality of refrigerant passages arranged between the first and second side end portions. Each flat tube is inclined such that in the height direction, the position of the first side end portion is lower than the position of the second side end portion. The connection spaces are spaced from each other in the height direction, and a lower side of each of the connection spaces has a first region located on the windward side and a second region located on the leeward side, and is inclined such that in the height direction, the position of the first region is lower than a position of the second region.

Heat exchanger and refrigeration cycle apparatus

A heat exchanger includes flat tubes, a header, and a refrigerant inlet. The header has a first plate, a second plate, and a third plate. The first plate has a ridge portion defining a tank space. The second plate has a first flow passage and a second flow passage. The first flow passage extends in such a manner that an area of the first flow passage coincides with an area of the tank space. The second flow passage extends in such a manner that an area of the second flow passage does not coincide with the area of the tank space. An upper portion of the first flow passage and an upper portion of the second flow passage are connected to each other via a first connecting flow passage. A lower portion of the first flow passage and a lower portion of the second flow passage are connected to each other via a second connecting flow passage. The third plate has a communicating hole that allows the first flow passage and each of the flat tubes to communicate with each other.

A distributor and a heat exchanger each include a first plate, a second plate, and a third plate. The first plate is stacked on the second plate in a stacking direction. The second plate is stacked on the third plate in the stacking direction. The first plate has a first through hole. The second plate has a first hollow portion communicating with the first through hole, a plurality of second hollow portions communicating with the first hollow portion, and a plurality of third hollow portions each communicating with one of the plurality of second hollow portions. The third plate has a plurality of second through holes each communicating with one of the plurality of third hollow portions. A first dimension Lthat is the width of the first hollow portion is larger than a second dimension Lthat is the width of each of the plurality of second hollow portions.

A distributer includes a housing having a surface portion and through holes extending through the surface portion, a plurality of plates stacked with each other in the housing, the plurality of plates including a first plate that is an outermost one of the plurality of plates and has a first opening extending through the first plate, and a second plate that is the other outermost one of the plurality of plates and has a plurality of second openings extending through the second plate, a branching flow path connecting the first opening and the plurality of second openings, a plurality of connection pipes each extending through a corresponding one of the through holes in the surface portion of the housing, and a partition plate disposed between the surface portion and the second plate, and abutting on both the surface portion and the second plate.

A heat exchanger includes a main heat exchange unit including a plurality of first heat transfer pipes arranged side by side, a sub-heat exchange unit including a plurality of second heat transfer pipes arranged side by side, and a relay unit including a plurality of relay passages connecting the plurality of first heat transfer pipes and the plurality of second heat transfer pipes. Each of the plurality of relay passages has one inlet connected to a corresponding one of the plurality of second heat transfer pipes, and a plurality of outlets each connected to a corresponding one of the plurality of first heat transfer pipes. Each of the plurality of relay passages distributes refrigerant flowing from the one inlet, without merging streams of the refrigerant together, and causes the refrigerant to flow out of the plurality of outlets.

Plate-shaped fins of a heat exchanger each include, at circumferential portions thereof defining a notch in which a heat transfer tube having a flattened shape is disposed, fin collars formed by being raised from the circumferential portions. Each of the fin collars includes, in a position that faces a long axis side surface of the heat transfer tube, at least one reflare section bent in a direction opposite to the side surface. At least one of the reflare sections defining fin pitches between the adjoining plate-shaped fins is formed so that a reflare tip portion, which is a tip portion of the reflare section, is drawn apart from a contact side surface of the plate-shaped fin with which the reflare section comes into contact.

A stacking-type header according to the present invention includes a plurality of first plates and a plurality of second plates stacked on one another and brazed together such that each of the plurality of second plates is disposed between adjoining two of the plurality of first plates. The plurality of first plates include a first end plate that is an outermost one of the plurality of first plates in a stacking direction of the plurality of first plates and that has a first through hole, and a second end plate that is another outermost one of the plurality of first plates in the stacking direction of the plurality of first plates and that has a plurality of second through holes. The plurality of first plates and the plurality of second plates have a communication hole that connects the first through hole of the first end plate and the plurality of second through holes of the second end plate. The plurality of second plates each have at least one opening formed at other than the communication hole. The opening communicates with atmosphere.

A laminated header according to the present invention includes: a first plate-like body having a plurality of first outlet flow passages formed therein; and a second plate-like body laminated on the first plate-like body, the second plate-like body having a distribution flow passage formed therein, the distribution flow passage being configured to distribute refrigerant, which passes through a first inlet flow passage to flow into the second plate-like body, to the plurality of first outlet flow passages to cause the refrigerant to flow out from the second plate-like body. A branching flow passage of the distribution flow passage includes: a branching portion; an inflow passage extending toward the branching portion; and a plurality of outflow passages extending from the branching portion in directions different from each other. Curvature radii of bending portions of the plurality of outflow passages are different from each other.

A stacking-type header includes: a first plate-shaped unit and a second plate-shaped unit having a distribution flow passage that includes a branching flow passage including: an opening port; a first straight-line part parallel to a gravity direction and having a lower end communicating with the opening port through a first connecting part; and a second straight-line part parallel to the gravity direction and having an upper end communicating with the opening port through a second connecting part, in which at least a part of the first and second connecting parts are not parallel to the gravity direction, and in which the refrigerant flows into the branching flow passage through the opening port, and flows out from the branching flow passage through each of an upper end of the first straight-line part-and a lower end of the second straight-line part.
