A battery unit mounted on a vehicle, includes: a battery; a first electric junction box electrically connected to the battery; a second electric junction box electrically connected to the battery; and a case accommodating the battery, the first electric junction box, and the second electric junction box. The battery, the first electric junction box, and the second electric junction box are arranged in this order in a vehicle width direction. The first electric junction box is disposed along a side surface of one side of the battery in the vehicle width direction. The second electric junction box is held by a bracket which is inclined upward or downward, as the second electric junction box is separated from the first electric junction box in the vehicle width direction.

Battery unit

A vehicle power supply system includes: a battery module; a cooling fan configured to taken in air from a passenger compartment of a vehicle; an upstream-side inlet duct that is disposed on an upstream side of the cooling fan; and a downstream-side inlet duct that is disposed on a downstream side of the cooling fan to connect the cooling fan and the battery module together. The cooling fan is disposed obliquely forwards or obliquely rearwards of the battery module, the downstream-side inlet duct is disposed on a lateral side of the battery module, the downstream-side inlet duct has a branching portion configured to divide air discharged from a discharge port of the cooling fan and to supply the air to the battery module, the branching portion is disposed between the cooling fan and the battery module, and the discharge port is directed towards the battery module.

Vehicle power supply system

A battery cooling structure for a vehicle includes: a battery storage space that is defined underneath a luggage compartment provided behind a rear seat and covered by a rear floor; a battery module that is stored in the battery storage space; a battery cooling unit that cools the battery module using air taken in from a passenger compartment, and discharges air into the battery storage space; a partition member that separates the battery storage space and a rear seat underside space that is provided underneath the rear seat; a passenger compartment-bound exhaust air flow path that returns an exhaust air discharged into the battery storage space to the passenger compartment by way of the rear seat underside space and an exhaust air passage hole formed in the partition member; and a luggage compartment-bound exhaust air flow path that discharges the exhaust air into the luggage compartment.

Battery cooling structure for vehicle

A holding member attached to outer peripheries of a plurality of adjacent cylindrical cell modules which are arranged parallel along axes thereof. Each cell module is formed by a plurality of unit cells serially connected, and the holding member is positioned in the middle of the cell modules along the axes thereof so that a gap is secured between the cell modules. The holding member has a plurality of circular holding portions for respectively holding the cell modules, wherein the holding portions are coupled with each other, and the coupled holding portions have a plurality of divided portions at which the coupled holding portions are divided into two holding bodies, each being fit over the cell modules; and a coupling device for coupling the divided portions positioned between adjacent two of the holding portions.

Holding member and battery pack

A battery pack includes a plurality of cylindrical cell modules, each formed by serially connecting a plurality of unit cells; a cell box in which the cell modules are contained in a manner such that the cell modules are arranged parallel to each other; a plurality of holding members fit to outer peripheries of the cell modules so as to arrange the cell modules in a zigzag manner along axes of the cell modules, in a manner such that the holding members make contact with each other and a gap is secured between every adjacent cell module; and an elastic body inserted between the holding members and a frame of the cell box. Preferably, a pushing member provided between the elastic body and the holding members is provided.

A temperature sensor mounting structure for a battery module that is formed by connecting single cells together in series including: a temperature-measuring device that detects the temperature of the battery module; a covering device that covers the temperature-measuring device; and movement-restricting devices that are removably engaged with the battery module and restrict the movement of the covering device.
