A rotor includes a rotor core, a first permanent magnet that is W1 mm long in a longitudinal direction, and a second permanent magnet that is W1 mm long in a longitudinal direction. The rotor core includes a first magnet insertion hole, a second magnet insertion hole, and a center lib. The first magnet insertion hole includes a first outside opening part having a radius of curvature of R1 mm, and a first inside opening part having a radius of curvature of R2 mm. The second magnet insertion hole includes a second outside opening part having a radius of curvature of R1 mm, and a second inside opening part having a radius of curvature of R2 mm. The rotor satisfies R1>R2 and 0<(R1+R2)/W1<0.082.

Rotor, electric motor, compressor, and air conditioner

A magnetization ring is disposed between a rotor and a core portion surrounding the rotor, the rotor having permanent magnets and inter-pole portions which are arranged in a circumferential direction about an axis. The magnetization ring has a magnetic portion facing the center of the permanent magnet in the circumferential direction, and a nonmagnetic portion facing the inter-pole portion of the rotor.

A stator includes a stator core having a plurality of slots in a circumferential direction about an axis and having an end surface in a direction of the axis, and a first coil and a second coil of different phases which are wound on the stator core in distributed winding. A winding factor is 1. Each of the first coil and the second coil has winding portions, the number of which corresponds to the number of poles. The winding portions include first and second winding portions adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. The first and second winding portions are inserted into one slot of the plurality of slots and extend from the one slot to both sides in the circumferential direction on the end surface. The first and second coils are annularly disposed in different positions in a radial direction about the axis on the end surface.

An 8-pole 9-slot permanent magnet synchronous motor includes a stator core including an annular yoke and a plurality of teeth. Each of the plurality of teeth has a winding portion around which a coil is wound. The plurality of teeth include three teeth groups. Each of the three teeth groups includes a first tooth, a second tooth, and a third tooth of the teeth group sequentially arranged in a rotational direction of a rotor and around which coils of one phase are wound. The first tooth, second tooth, and third tooth of each of the three teeth groups are sequentially arranged in the rotational direction of the rotor. A width of the winding portion of the first tooth is narrower than a width of the winding portion of each of the second tooth and the third tooth.

Permanent magnet synchronous motor

A synchronous motor includes: a stator core formed by stacking, in the axial direction, magnetic steel sheets stamped into a specific shape; and a cylindrical permanent magnet having magnetic poles formed on its outer circumferential surface and having polar anisotropic orientation corresponding to the number of magnetic poles. The permanent magnet is longer than the stator core in an axial direction. Grooves are formed in a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the permanent magnet that is opposed to the stator core and in a portion of the outer circumferential surface of the permanent magnet that is not opposed to the stator core and is located only on one side in the axial direction, and the grooves extends in the axial direction and are formed at a fixed interval in a rotation direction at an inter-magnetic pole portion.

Synchronous motor

A 10-pole/9-slot synchronous motor includes nine teeth that are divided into three phases, each having three adjacent teeth. A stator iron core is configured such that a value obtained by dividing b by a is larger than 0.5 where the a is a width of a teeth tip, which is provided on an inner diameter side of a tooth of the teeth formed on the stator iron core, from a base portion between the teeth tip and the tooth to a circumferential end of the teeth tip and the b is a thickness of the teeth tip from the base portion to an inner-diameter side surface of the teeth tip.

10-pole/9-slot synchronous motor

A 10-pole 12-slot permanent magnet synchronous motor comprises a plurality of teeth. From among two adjacent teeth around which coils of the same phase are wound adjacent to each other, the rotational direction width of a winding portion of a first tooth placed in front along a rotational direction of a rotor is set narrower than that of a winding portion of a second tooth placed behind along the rotational direction of the rotor. With this configuration, the circumferential length of the coil wound around the first tooth can be shortened with suppressing increase in iron loss in the winding portion of the first tooth.

A 10-pole 9-slot permanent magnet synchronous motor comprises a stator core including an annular yoke and a plurality of teeth. Each of the plurality of teeth has a winding portion around which a coil is wound. The plurality of teeth include three teeth groups. Each of the three teeth groups includes a first tooth, a second tooth, and a third tooth of the teeth group sequentially arranged in a rotational direction of a rotor and around which coils of one phase are wound. A width of the winding portion of the third tooth is narrower than a rotational direction width of the winding portion of the first tooth.

A synchronous motor includes a stator that includes nine teeth that are divided into three phases, each of which includes three adjacent teeth, windings being concentratedly wound around the teeth. The circumferential width of a tip portion of a central tooth among three teeth forming each phase is made smaller than the circumferential widths of tip portions of both-side teeth, and the tooth thickness of the tip portion of the central tooth is made smaller than the tooth thicknesses of the tip portions of the both-side teeth.

A drive circuit for a synchronous motor including a rotor having ten magnetic poles formed by a permanent magnet, and a stator in which a winding is wound in a concentrated manner around nine teeth facing the rotor, the drive circuit including: an inverter including a plurality of switching elements in bridge connection; and a control unit that controls the inverter in such a manner that a square-wave-shaped current flows to the winding, wherein the control unit operates in such a manner that an energization phase at which to pass the square-wave-shaped current falls within a range of electric angles of &#x2212;10&#xb0; to +5&#xb0; from an energization phase at which the current is minimum when a target torque of the synchronous motor is generated.

A synchronous motor is configured such that a rotor, in which permanent magnets having poles are provided at an equiangular interval in a circumferential direction, with magnetic poles with different polarities being alternately provided, is provided to face a stator, in which nine teeth are formed at an equiangular interval in a circumferential direction, and the tip width of the central tooth of each phase among the teeth of each phase grouped into three phases with each phase including three adjacent teeth is larger than 32&#xb0; and smaller than 40&#xb0;.

A reinforcing bar binding machine is provided with a device for detecting a power supply voltage during a binding wire twisting step subjected to the heaviest load and comparing the power supply voltage with a predetermined CPU operation voltage, and a control device for driving a motor in a reverse direction when the voltage has dropped below the predetermined CPU operation voltage. The power supply voltage during operation is monitored, and twisting operation is suspended before the voltage drops below the CPU operation voltage, whereby the binding wire twisting mechanism is returned to the initial position. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the binding wire twisting mechanism from being stopped while grasping the binding wire, when the CPU stops.

A rotor resin assembly of a rotor of an electric motor includes a rotor magnet including a substantially cylindrical yoke molded from thermoplastic resin containing a soft magnetic material or ferrite and a resin magnet integrally formed in the outer circumference of the yoke, a position detection magnet arranged at one end in the axial direction of the rotor magnet, and a substantially doughnut-like rotor core arranged in the inner circumference of the rotor magnet and formed by laminating a predetermined number of electromagnetic steel plates. The rotor magnet, the position detection magnet, and the rotor core are integrally formed by resin. A shaft is inserted into an inner diameter section of the rotor core, and the rotor resin assembly is caulked by a jig to form a recess in the vicinity of the inner diameter sections of both end faces of the rotor core and assembled to the shaft.

A magnet constituting a magnetic pole of a rotor includes an annular ferrite bond magnet provided on an outer circumference of a rotation shaft and a plurality of sintered ferrite magnets arranged on an outer circumference of the ferrite bond magnet. The ferrite bond magnet includes, on an outer circumferential surface thereof, curved concave portions convexed toward a side of the rotation shaft. The sintered ferrite magnets are arranged on the curved concave portions, and include a surface on a side of the stator that is formed in a curved convex shape toward the side of the stator, and a center portion whose thickness with respect to the circumferential direction is formed to be larger than a thickness of an edge portion, wherein magnetization direction is oriented in polar anisotropy.
