The present invention provides a stainless steel including 21 to 23% by mass of Cr, 0.2 to 0.4% by mass of Mn, 1.0 to 2.0% by mass of Mo, 0.08 to 2.0% by mass or Al, 0.01 to 0.2% by mass of Ti, and 0.2 to 0.5% by mass of Nb, with the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities; an interconnector of a fuel cell or a base material for holding a cell of a fuel cell made of this stainless steel; and a solid oxide fuel cell including this interconnector or this base material for holding a cell.

Stainless steel

A fuel cell module includes a plurality of power generation cells. The plurality of power generation cells are stacked together in a circle, and a tightening load is applied to the plurality of power generation cells in a circumferential direction. Each of the plurality of power generation cells includes a V-shaped electrically conductive base plate. A first reactant gas flow field is provided between power generation cells that are adjacent to each other. A ridge protruding outward is provided in the base plate to provide the first reactant gas flow field by the ridge, and insulating material is provided on the ridge.

Fuel cell module and fuel cell system

A fuel cell module includes a plurality of power generation cells. Each of the power generation cells includes an electrolyte electrode assembly for performing power generation by utilizing a fuel gas and an oxygen-containing gas. The plurality of power generation cells are stacked together in a circle, and a tightening load is applied to the plurality of power generation cells in a circumferential direction. Each of the plurality of power generation cells has a V-shape, and a peak of the V-shape is oriented to the center of the fuel cell module.

A metal-supported cell comprises a laminate wherein a fuel electrode layer and a solid electrolyte layer are sequentially arranged in this order on a front surface of a metal support provided with a pore continuing from the front surface to the back surface. The solid electrolyte layer covers all parts of the surface of the fuel electrode layer, the parts being not in contact with the metal support. The peripheral part of the solid electrolyte layer is in contact with the front surface of the metal support. The metal support has a metal oxide layer. The fuel electrode layer contains NiO and Ni with molar ratio NiO/(Ni+NiO) of 45% or more, while containing gadolinium-doped ceria. The solid electrolyte layer mainly contains scandia-stabilized zirconia, while containing 0.1-10.0 mol of Bi atoms per 100 mol of Zr atoms having cross-sectional void fraction of 5.0% or less.

Metal-supported cell

A sheet forming apparatus includes a supply port for supplying a slurry, a discharge port for discharging a green sheet, a first slurry spreading chamber, a second slurry spreading chamber, and a third slurry spreading chamber that are disposed between the supply port and the discharge port, and joining holes through which the first, second, and third slurry spreading chambers are joined to each other. At least two of the joining holes are disposed one on each side of the supply port along a transverse direction of the green sheet.
