The present invention relates to a conductive resin molded product having an insulating skin produced by a composite comprising a non-conductive resin and conductive material. The invention also provides a method for producing the conductive resin molded product.

Conductive resin molded product having insulating skin and method for forming the same

To control the thickness of the skin layer of a composite resin molded product by a viscosity difference obtained by varying the viscosity by adding another ultra-minute substance to a raw resin material. The composite resin molded product comprising the skin layer formed of a first thermoplastic resin and the core layer formed of a second thermoplastic resin is molded by injection. The viscosity difference between the resins is controlled by adding a carbon nanomaterial to one or the other of the thermoplastic resins. The thickness of the skin layer is controlled by the viscosity difference. The first thermoplastic resin and the second thermoplastic resin are of the same kind or different kinds of resins.

Method for controlling thickness of skin layer of composite resin molded product

A carbon nano material and a resin binder are plasticized and injection molded to form a preliminarily molded member. The preliminarily molded member is degreased by a heat treatment and made to a preliminarily molded porous member composed of the carbon nano material. The preliminarily molded porous member is inserted into a cavity of a product mold. A molten low melting point metal is injected into and fills the cavity. The preliminarily molded porous member is impregnated with the low melting point metal by injection pressure, thereby a composite metal product composed of the low melting point metal material integrally composited with the carbon nano material is molded. With the above arrangement, the characteristics of the carbon nano material are applied to the composite metal product to improve the functions thereof.

Composite metal product of carbon nano material and low melting point metal and method of producing the same

A low melting point metal material is made to a thixotropic state in which liquid phases and solid phases coexists. In the thixotropic state of the low melting point metal material, a carbon nano material is kneaded with the low melting point metal material and forms a composite material. Thus obtained composite material is supplied to a metal molding machine and injected into a mold in a thixotropic state or a completely molten state of the metal so that the composite material fills the mold, thereby the composite material is molded to a composite metal product. With the above process, it is possible to injection mold the composite metal product to which the characteristics of the carbon nano material are applied.

Method for producing a composite metal product

The present invention reduces an excessive gnawing force at the thread engagement region of a ball screw portion with the ball nut member that tends to be generated in the electric injection mechanism and prevents an abnormal wear or break of the ball screw shaft by installing a stress relaxation means of annular groove at the shaft portion of the ball screw shaft. A ball nut member is engaged by threads with a pair of right and left ball screw shafts rotatably provided in parallel with guide bars over front and rear plates. The shaft portion between the front plate of the ball screw shaft and the ball screw portion is partially formed with a diameter smaller that the root diameter of the ball screw shaft, and a stress relaxation groove with a concave curved surface having a flat bottom is disposed in the shaft portion.

Electric injection mechanism

A mold clamping apparatus of an injection molding machine includes a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism includes a first drive mechanism for opening/closing a mold at high speed through advancement/retreat of a movable platen effected by means of a first drive motor unit and a first ball screw mechanism; a second drive mechanism for clamping the mold at high pressure through application of pressure to a pressing member effected by means of a second drive motor unit and a second ball screw mechanism; an engagement mechanism for engaging the movable platen with the pressing member in the course of advancement of the movable platen; and a clutch mechanism which is operated after establishment of the engagement effected by the engagement mechanism, in order to interlock the pressing member with the movable platen to thereby enable the pressing member to apply pressure to the movable platen.

Mold clamping apparatus of injection molding machine

An injection molding machine is equipped with a drive mechanism which reciprocates a movable member, such as a screw or a mold clamping mechanism, by use of a servomotor and a ball screw mechanism. In the injection molding machine, an end portion of a rotor shaft of the servomotor is connected directly to an end portion of a ball screw (or a nut) of the ball screw mechanism for reciprocating the movable member. This structure enables rotation of the servomotor to be transmitted directly to the ball screw (or the nut) of the ball screw mechanism without intervention of a rotation transmission mechanism.

Injection molding machine

A plasticizing apparatus used for a pre-plasticization-type injection molding machine is equipped with a screw drive section which comprises a rotational drive section supported in an axially moveable manner and adapted to rotate the screw; and an advancement/retraction drive section including a servomotor and a ball-screw mechanism for converting rotational motion of the servomotor to linear motion in order to axially move the rotational drive section. By virtue of the above-described structure, the screw disposed within the barrel is rotated by the rotational drive section of the screw drive section, so that the molding material within the barrel is plasticized (melted) and is then supplied to the injection apparatus. Further, the rotational drive section (screw) is advanced and retracted by the advancement/retraction section of the screw drive section, so that the resin passage of the barrel is opened and closed in accordance with the position of the screw.

Plasticizing apparatus for a pre-plasticization-type injection molding machine

Disk removing device uses its disk pickup arm to remove or take out, from an injection mold unit, a disk having been molded by the mold unit. The disk removing device includes a rotary motor for rotating the disk pickup arm, and an arm support shaft which has the disk pickup arm at its distal end portion and which is rotated, together with the arm, by the rotary motor. The arm support shaft is coupled at its other end to a linear shaft of a linear motor so that the rotary and linear motors are coupled with each other in series via the arm support shaft. The disk removing device also includes a bearing member rotatable by the rotary motor, and the arm support shaft is supported by the bearing member for rotation and axial sliding movement relative to the bearing member. Such arrangements can effectively reduce the necessary number of component parts and overall size of the disk removing device, and thus the disk removing device can be installed snugly in a small space.

Disk removing device

A drive motor has a shaft supported by a casing to be rotatable and movable in the axial direction over a predetermined stroke. A portion of the shaft is utilized in order to form a rotary motor section for rotating the shaft, and another portion of the shaft is utilized in order to form an electromagnetic plunger section for moving the shaft in the axial direction. The rotary motor section and the electromagnetic plunger section are integrally built in the casing. The drive motor is used in a drive apparatus for a pre-plasticization-type injection molding machine. The front end of the shaft is connected to the rear end of a screw disposed within a barrel of a plasticizing unit of molding machine. Through axial movement of the shaft, a resin passage of the barrel is opened and closed by a valve portion provided at the front end of the screw.

Drive motor and drive apparatus for a molding machine

An injection molding machine is equipped with an injection apparatus support mechanism comprising paired main tie-bars disposed to extend between a mold attachment plate and a back plate disposed to face each other; front and rear support plates connected to each other via paired auxiliary tie-bars and slidably supported by the main tie-bars; and an intermediate support block slidably supported by the main and auxiliary tie-bars. Since the mold attachment plate and the back plate are supported by the paired main tie-bars disposed symmetrically with respect to the screw, a sufficient level of mechanical strength (fixation strength) is secured for the mold attachment plate and the back plate. In addition, since the front support plate and the rear support plate are connected to each other by the paired auxiliary tie-bars disposed symmetrically with respect to the screw at positions different from those of the main tie-bars, the mechanical strength of these plates is secured.

Injection apparatus support mechanism for an injection molding machine

A motor drive apparatus is provided in an injection molding machine in order to supply electrical energy to a motor. The motor drive apparatus includes an electricity accumulation unit for accumulating electrical energy; and an electricity accumulation circuit for accumulating in the electricity accumulation unit electrical energy regenerated from the motor during a deceleration period of the motor and for supplying the electrical energy accumulated in the electricity accumulation unit to the motor during an acceleration period of the motor. By virtue of the above-described structure, when a heavy member such as a screw of an injection apparatus or a movable platen of a mold clamping apparatus is moved at high speed in each molding cycle, at the beginning of movement or during an acceleration period of the motor, the electricity accumulation circuit adds the electrical energy accumulated in the accumulation unit to electrical energy that is supplied from a power source to the motor, and during a deceleration period of the motor, electrical energy regenerated from the motor is accumulated in the accumulation unit.

Motor drive apparatus for an injection molding machine

In a motor-driven-type injection molding machine, large-sized motors (a motor for screw rotation, a motor for screw reciprocation, and a motor for mold clamping) are accommodated in an interior space of a machine base to be located substantially at the center of the machine base with respect to the transverse direction thereof; and each of rotation-transmitted portions provided in an injection apparatus and a mold clamping apparatus is drivingly connected to the corresponding motor via a rotation transmission mechanism comprising a rotation transmission belt. Since the large, heavy motors are accommodated within the interior space of the machine base to be located substantially at the center of the machine base with respect to the transverse direction thereof, the height of the overall center of gravity of the molding machine is lowered, weight balance is improved, and the degree of quietness is improved. In addition, the servomotors can be connected directly to a control unit disposed within the interior space of the machine base, without connection cords being routed to the outside of the machine base.

Motor-driven-type injection molding machine

A molding machine includes a drive unit which, in turn, includes comprises a rotary motor and a thrust generator. The rotary motor includes a shaft which is rotatable and axially movable. The shaft is connected to a movable body so as to rotate the movable body by the rotary motor and to reciprocate the movable body by the thrust generator. Thus, the drive unit is substantially composed of a single rotary motor which functions for rotating and reciprocating the movable body, such as a screw.

Molding machine

A molding machine includes a drive unit for linearly moving a movable body, such as a movable platen of a clamping apparatus. The drive unit includes a linear motor. The linear motor includes a linear movement body having moving-side magnetic-pole portions and supported in an axially movable manner, and a stationary body having stationary-side magnetic-pole portions adapted to linearly move the linear movement body. The linear movement body is connected to the movable body (movable platen). The linear movement body has moving-side inclined surfaces on which part of the moving-side magnetic-pole portions are disposed. The stationary body has stationary-side inclined surfaces which face the moving-side inclined surfaces and on which part of the stationary-side magnetic-pole portions are disposed.
