Provided is an electronic thermometer that is inexpensive, has fast thermal response, and suppresses bending and directional misalignment of the lead of the temperature sensor during assembly of the electronic thermometer. The electronic thermometer includes: a temperature sensor that includes a temperature sensing unit that measures the body temperature of a measurement subject and a lead having one end that is fixed to the temperature sensing unit; a hollow housing that houses the lead, and in which the temperature sensing unit is arranged on the tip side; a printed circuit board to which the other end of the lead is fixed; and an assembly that includes the printed circuit board and is housed in the housing. The assembly includes an extension portion extending toward the tip side of the housing. The extension portion has a guide portion that orients the extending direction of the lead.

Electronic thermometer and method for manufacturing the same

A cuff for a sphygmomanometer includes an air bladder for compressing a living body, an exterior cover including the air bladder, and a fixing unit arranged in the exterior cover. A portion closer to an end of the exterior cover is inserted between a roller arranged in the fixing unit and a stopper, and is fixed by being pushed against the roller by the stopper. The roller is rotatable only in a direction of reducing the size of the annular portion of the exterior cover. Accordingly, the cuff for the sphygmomanometer has a simple configuration, is inexpensively manufactured, and easily carries out and stably reproduces attachment with respect to the upper arm.

Cuff for blood pressure information measurement device and blood pressure information measurement device equipped with the same

An electronic sphygmomanometer includes a cuff, a tank that stores a prescribed amount of fluid, a pressure adjusting unit that adjusts pressurization of the cuff or the tank by supplying or discharging the fluid, a pressure detector that detects a pressure in the cuff or a pressure in the tank based on pressure information output from a pressure sensor, a blood pressure calculating unit that calculates a blood pressure value based on a change in the pressure in the cuff detected by the pressure detector, an abnormality detector, and a first channel through to the pressure adjusting unit and the pressure detector and that has one of the tank and the cuff selectively connected thereto. The abnormality detector detects whether the pressure sensor is abnormal in a state where the tank is connected to the first channel and the fluid is supplied to the tank.

Electronic sphygmomanometer

An electronic sphygmomanometer determines whether a position of a measurement site falls within a proper range, and notifies whether the position of the measurement site falls within the proper range. When determination is made that a time in which the position of the measurement site falls within the proper range is not less than a predetermined time (for example, 2 seconds), measurement of a blood pressure is automatically started. When determination is made that a time in which the position of the measurement site is out of the proper range is not less than a predetermined time (for example, 5 seconds), the measurement of the blood pressure is started. Further, whether the position of the measurement site falls within the proper range is notified while correlated with the measurement result.

The plate-shaped member has adhesive characteristics on a top face that opposes the lead.
